We will walk a path, crossing challenging climbs and exhilarating descents in the middle of wild vegetation that we will learn to recognize. Reaching the summit, a spectacular view will be offered to us. For the daring and adventurous spirits, an escape to another lake with crystal clear waters will be a tempting option.

Freshwater Lake

We will follow a hiking trail circumnavigating the lake, with uphill and downhill sections through wild vegetation. Once at the top we will be able to enjoy a magnificent view of the lake.

Wow. There are not enough words (or space) to describe how wonderful this hiking experience with Ketty was! The island of Dominica is so beautiful and unspoiled. Ketty picked us up at the cruise port and drove us to the fresh water lake hiking trail. Along the way she took the time to point out highlights and stop to check things out. The hike itself was magical. The rainforest was lush and beautiful Ketty explained much about the plants and birds around us. The hike was just the right amount of challenge. On the way back, Ketty heard our interest in local art and drove us to many artists that she knew. The rainforest hike is definitely worth doing, and having Ketty as a guide makes it so much better!

Very beautiful hike but physical Ketty is very available, explains to us the different plants, the singing of birds, the history of the island. We had a great time. THANKS.
