A mature and highly-regarded local guide will provide friendly, entertaining commentary on hundreds of topics covering birds and wildlife, trees, geology, history and folklore on your tour of the scenic roads and byways of the beautiful Magnetic Island. Departing Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal you'll visit all the major sights, including one or two secret spots some locals don't even know about.

After boarding the bus at Nelly Bay terminal you will meet your friendly local guide who will escort you throughout the day. Our guides are all locals, with a depth of knowledge about life on the island. After a brief introduction you will make your way through Nelly Bay to the western side of the island. On the way you’ll get some background facts on the island and an introduction to the geography and fauna.
Admire the breathtaking views over Cleveland Bay as your guide explains the island's geography and its relation to Townsville.

5.00Well worth the money to on the magnetic island tours. We learn a lot, plus we have the van for just us and my friends. We saw places and animals that we did not even seen in person, specially my 3 friends that did not see in real life. They are happy and we give maybe magnetic island tours a 5 stars

5.00Magnetic Island afternoon tour is the perfect stressfree way to see the island highlights if you only have one day or would be a good introduction to the island if staying longer. We had some time in Townsville in the morning then caught the Sealink ferry over.The local guide Neil gave us options and did not rush us at all. We learnt so much about the island and its history. Saw lots of butterflies on the walk , the local wallabies, curlews and even a koala.

5.00Awesome bus tour with tour guide, Tim. Tim was very informative and had a great sense of humour! We visited some gorgeous spots like Arcadia Beach and the stunning Horseshoe Bay (definitely a favourite). Got to see and feed lots of rock wallabies! Tim, who also runs a koala hospital invited us to check it out. He’s helped over 400 koalas back into the wild, and seeing the work he and his team do was honestly amazing. Fabulous trip to Magnetic Island, will be back!

5.00What an absolutely wonderful tour, over and above what I expected. Tim our guide an island Koala expert was brilliant. We were given a wonderful three hour tour, from feeding rock wallabies to beautiful scenery along with brilliant local history. Think this tour will take a lot of beating on our travels. The best bit about behind the scene tour of the Koala Hospital not usually on the tour but wow what an experience. Up close with a koala where most people charge you for the experience. We will be sending a donation to the hospital to thank them for allowing us to do this.

5.00The guide was excellent, informative and a highlight was seeing the koalas being cared for because of their various difficulties. Very good overview of the island, plenty of stops and overall a great experience thank you.
