  From the first welcome this is a must do when on Magnetic, the crew are friendly and Pilgrim is immaculately maintained. Food and wine are delicious, it’s the best end to day 🌅

  Luxurious! My colleagues recommended Pilgrim to me about a year ago so when the opportunity came for me to squeeze in a trip to Magnetic Island and enjoy the magic of Pilgrim i jumped at the chance. The hour's sunset sail around Horseshoe Bay was such a beatutiful evening, and with such a small and intimate group size of 7 of us, we all had our own space nthe boat but it felt more like a private tour. Thank you for having me, Claire, Skipper and Iris :)

  Due to choppy seas our departure was changed from Nelly Bay to Horseshoe bay. Plenty of notice given with an Urgent email sent advising us what bus to catch to be there on time. We were transferred by tender to Pilgrim. Interesting experience boarding up the “ ladder” to get onboard. Once onboard and settled Eris was very welcoming and offered us drinks. My husband has an allergy to cheese. The pre ordered snack onboard was delicious. Beautifully presented. Lots of selection and perfect for my husband. I’d love to have seen a bit more scenery but totally understood why we remained in Horseshoe bay for our comfort and safety. Leyton was very interesting to talk to.

  The crew and Paul were incredibly attentive and anticipated all the questions we could have had. We felt very well looked after the whole time. We had a wonderful time cruising around even with the little bit of wind and rain. The pumpkin chutney was a hit as well!

  Pilgrim's Sip'n'Sail was a wonderful experience. Skipper, Paul, and crew, Siobahn, were interesting and delightful, and obviously very good at what they do. Yacht, Pilgrim, was a treat and a great place to be. Arrangements were very well organised and ran to scheduled times. Catering and service of drinks was also very smooth and worked amazingly well in the limited circumstances of a yacht. A little pre-sailing apprehension as regards potential for seasickness proved to be unfounded and both of us were absolutely fine in that regard. Many thanks to Pilgrim Magnetic Island for a delightful late afternoon/early evening.

  This was the highlight of my trip to Magnetic Island! The most incredible sunset sail on a stunning sail boat (and yes, we sailed the whole time (no motor)). We got unlimited drinks (including local wines and beers) and a cheese board (dietary requirements catered for). Was very chilled vibes but absolutely incredible.

  We did the Sip & Sail Sunset Cruise with Pilgrim Sailing this week and it was a wonderful experience — a real highlight of our time on the island. Clayton did a fantastic job as skipper and made us feel completely safe and relaxed from the moment we stepped onboard. The sail itself was beautiful and unhurried, with a perfect sunset backdrop. A definite highlight was the cheese platter, especially the serving of Clare’s Pumpkin Chutney, which was absolutely delicious. The selection of wine and beer was excellent, with thoughtful non-alcoholic options as well. Relaxed, well run, and genuinely special — this is a must-do for anyone visiting Magnetic Island.
