  If you want a great tour on Roatan, go with these guys!!! I overslept on the cruise ship and missed the tour bus. Instead of blowing us off, the owner sent his son (!) to give us a personal tour of the island! We had the best time ever with Steve! He told us so much about Roatan and even stopped at a woman cooking food on the roadside where we had an authentic Honduran meal. We went to the Rum factory and where they make chocolate. Steve, we will definitely be back and will use you guys exclusive. You deserve a kudos from us, as you represented your company exquisitely!!!!

  Where to begin... we were greeted with smiles and told, “Elvis can’t wait to meet you!” Sure, we thought. Then we met him — Elvis — with the warmest smile, full of positive energy and enthusiasm. He invited us into his car, and little did we know, he was truly inviting us into his world. He asked what we wanted to do, never made us feel rushed, and answered our gazillion questions with pride and a genuine desire to share his country and his people — both of which he clearly loves deeply. He took us to his favorite places, knew everyone everywhere we went, and introduced us like we were his long-lost family. When another driver’s car broke down, Elvis was the first to run over and help. He rushed back to make sure we were okay — we sent him back to help again! Later, he ran over to help a tour bus squeeze into a tight space, guiding the driver carefully with everyone’s safety in mind. That’s when we realized this man’s kindness and generosity weren’t just for show or tips — they were part of who he is. We shared stories about our families and were honored to meet his daughter and, later in the day, his brother. His laughter and positivity throughout the tour were infectious. We came to Roatán as tourists, but within just a few hours, we felt like part of his family — part of his beloved home, friends, and community. If you are fortunate enough to meet Elvis, you will surely be blessed by his presence. Thank you, Elvis, not only for the most amazing personalized tour filled with details we never would have thought of, but for sharing your joy, warmth, and kindness. We will always hold a very special place in our hearts for you. We met as strangers and parted as family.

  Easy to find. Steve Bush was very kind and pleasant sharing all about the island and life on the island. He was a safe driver. We were four travelers and were comfortable in the vehicle provided. My only negative is that I get the impression they are not used to people knowing where they want to go and what they want to do or that they have kickbacks from other local vendors for bringing tourists to those specific places. We were driven to a couple places that we didn't ask to go ( a shipwreck site and a scenic lookout/shopping spot) and I finally had to be pretty firm that we had plans and needed to just be driven where we asked to go. I was not super happy about that because the confrontation felt uncomfortable for me, but it wasn't really a big deal. Just make sure that if you have plans, you are super specific that that is where you want to go and only there. For our family we chose to go walk out snorkeling in the morning, then did the chocolate tour/shop, then we went to lunch at the Roatan Brewery in the jungle. It was a perfect day!

  Everything was amazing! Leo was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had! Ronaldo was a great driver too!! Snorkeling was so fun and the tour felt very personalized. Would 100% recommend.

  Do not take this tour - Roatan Trip and Tours is not a reliable operator. They failed to inform us where and what time to meet once we got off the cruise ship. We wondered around for 45 minutes in port trying to find them. We did not get what we paid for and they refuse a refund. We reserved a 4 person tour for 5 hours and customized. Once we found where to go, we got on a bus with 45 other and drove for 2 hours to 4 souvenir shops and then back to the cruise port. The other couple we booked with didn't even make to the bus. They sent emails asking what ship we were on while we where already onboard without internet or cell service. If they need the name of the ship, then put it in the reservations details while making the booking, not after the cruise starts. They were not flexible to work with and claimed we accepted a land/sea tour which was never the case. The driver said he would work it out with his manager to get us what we booked, but that never happened. Viator never communicated that the tour was being run by Third party, so we went searching for a Viator representative when we got to Roatan, but no one was there to help us - they failed us. Extremely poor communication on Viator and Roatan Trips and Tours. If you only want to shop for souvenirs and do nothing and see nothing this is for you, but not what we paid $220 for.

  Excellent service. Met us right outside the port on time. Car was clean, well air conditioned, comfortable. We had specific places we wanted to visit and the driver tried to get us to set up guides with other companies and change our schedule, which I didn't love. I had to be more firm than I would have preferred to get him to take us where we wanted to go and when, but I do understand they're trying to funnel money into tourism on the island. The driver was professional, respectful, knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely use them again in the future, knowing that you need to be somewhat assertive if you already have a clear plan in mind.
