The wine tasting experience to the Cantina Marinella with Maria is an exclusive experience for max 8 people in an amazing old cellar from the 19th century. We will meet to the Cantina and after a walk through the vineyards of Manarola, an old mule track, up to the panoramic point where the terraces descend overlooking the sea and the colorful houses and where you take beautiful pics, we will return to the cellar where the tasting of some local wines will begin: - 3 tasting glasses of white wine - 1 tasting glasses of rosé wine - 2 tasting glasses of red wine - 1 tasting glass of Sciachetra' the precious and rare sweet dessert wine with Cantucci biscuits. They will be served during the wine tasting local food products. Relax, good music and sharing at the convivial table. If you want to make the experience private and personal it is possible by reserving all seats. In case of rain we skip the walk in the vineyards and we stay in the cellar for the tasting. The times are entered by default, but they can be brought forward or postponed by an hour based on the diary and in the months of September, October and November the times are brought forward because the sun sets earlier.

5.00Our wine tasting and vineyard tour in Manarola with Maria was the great!. The breathtaking views of terraced vineyards cascading down was truly one of the most picturesque places we’ve ever seen. Our host, Maria, was fun, easygoing, and knowledgeable, sharing not only great local wines but also the history behind each bottle. Every sip told a story. Walking through the vineyards, learning about the unique growing conditions, and then sitting back to enjoy perfectly paired tastings was an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting Cinque Terre, this is a must-do. Authentic, relaxing, and beautiful—we’ll be talking about this day (and the wines and food) for a long time.

5.00Maria was an amazing guide and so clear and informative about the process of wine in Cinque Terre and how different it is. After a 30 min. walk/tour through the vineyards, back in her cantina she takes you through an amazing journey of 7 local wines and local food with information and laughs. Well worth every penny, one of the less touristy more authentic experiences in Cinque Terre.

5.00Had an amazing experience with Maria! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and wine making process. The entire time making us feel like family as we walked through the terrace vineyards and again in the cellar. This is definitely a must do whenever in Cinque Terre.

5.00Maria was fabulous and accommodating since we ran late. Be prepared for inclines and uneven terrain on the vineyard trail. The cantina atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. We learned much about the local vineyards, wines and lemon production. We would take this tour again if we are fortunate enough to return to the area.

5.00Maria is amazing! This was such a personal and local experience. If you want to slow down and really learn about the region and what it takes to produce the wine, this is the experience for you. The local snacks with the wine are so fresh and delicious and paired so well with the wine you are provided. This is a great way to learn about a lot of different wines in the region, different from if you were to visit just a single winery. The vineyard hike has great views and is not very difficult. They also ship wine bottles back home local and other famous Italian wines. The cantina is gorgeous and recently renovated and Maria is such a great guide and so knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend.

5.00Maria is delightful, knowledgeable, and a wonderful guide. We learned so much about the farming in the vineyard, and all that goes into it. The wine tasting and pairing afterwards was amazing! There were many different wines, and we experienced the difference of pairing with a variety of foods. She took into account dietary restrictions, and tailored the tasting to each person. If you are looking for a wonderful experience to learn about the region, the wines and the food, while having a great time, don’t hesitate to take this opportunity!

5.00We had the tasting to ourselves and it was fantastic. The variety of the tasting along with the local food pairing was exceptional. If there was a wine we didn’t like, we were provided another one to try out. It was great.
