The wine tasting experience to the Cantina Marinella with Maria is an exclusive experience for max 8 people in an amazing old cellar from the 19th century. We will meet to the Cantina and after a walk through the vineyards of Manarola, an old mule track, up to the panoramic point where the terraces descend overlooking the sea and the colorful houses and where you take beautiful pics, we will return to the cellar where the tasting of some local wines will begin: - 3 tasting glasses of white wine - 1 tasting glasses of rosé wine - 2 tasting glasses of red wine - 1 tasting glass of Sciachetra' the precious and rare sweet dessert wine with Cantucci biscuits. They will be served during the wine tasting local food products. Relax, good music and sharing at the convivial table. If you want to make the experience private and personal it is possible by reserving all seats. In case of rain we skip the walk in the vineyards and we stay in the cellar for the tasting. The times are entered by default, but they can be brought forward or postponed by an hour based on the diary and in the months of September, October and November the times are brought forward because the sun sets earlier.

Maria is amazing! This was such a personal and local experience. If you want to slow down and really learn about the region and what it takes to produce the wine, this is the experience for you. The local snacks with the wine are so fresh and delicious and paired so well with the wine you are provided. This is a great way to learn about a lot of different wines in the region, different from if you were to visit just a single winery. The vineyard hike has great views and is not very difficult. They also ship wine bottles back home local and other famous Italian wines. The cantina is gorgeous and recently renovated and Maria is such a great guide and so knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend.

Maria is delightful, knowledgeable, and a wonderful guide. We learned so much about the farming in the vineyard, and all that goes into it. The wine tasting and pairing afterwards was amazing! There were many different wines, and we experienced the difference of pairing with a variety of foods. She took into account dietary restrictions, and tailored the tasting to each person. If you are looking for a wonderful experience to learn about the region, the wines and the food, while having a great time, don’t hesitate to take this opportunity!

We had the tasting to ourselves and it was fantastic. The variety of the tasting along with the local food pairing was exceptional. If there was a wine we didn’t like, we were provided another one to try out. It was great.

Remember to wear comfortable shoes when touring the vineyard. The entire experience was wonderful, and Maria was great. She was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Thank you, Maria!

Maria is wonderful! She is warm and knowledgeable. The experience is fun but also very interesting. Very with the money!
Great time and delicious wines presented by a wonderful host. Felt like we were having a tasting in Maria's home.

Maria is an amazing hostess, you develop a real appreciation for the wine you are enjoying with her great explanation of the cultivation of the local wine. Her food pairings enhance the wine perfectly. We enjoyed every aspect of the experience, from start to finish. Excellent conversations and delicious wine and food. We even bought a few bottles to ship back home, which Maria was able to arrange.

This experience was brilliant. We met Maria in Manarola and then she guided us through some vineyards and talked to us about the local wine growing. We then returned to the wine shop to taste 7 wines. Maria spoke to us in detail about the wines and answered all of our questions. She also kindly prepared some appetisers for us to have with the wine. Maria was very knowledgeable about the wines but was also very fun and friendly which helped us really enjoy the experience. Would 100% recommend.

What an incredible experience! Maria was very knowledgable, and I learnt lots about the unique wine production methods used in this beautiful part of Italy on the short walk among the vines before the tasting. The tasting cellar was really beautiful, the food wholesome and delicious, and the wines were outstanding. We tried multiple, whites, reds, a rose and and a sweet wine. Amazing value for the experience. Maria was a wonderful host and really fun. If you appreciate good wine, this is a must-do when in Manarola!
