The wine tasting experience to the Cantina Marinella with Maria is an exclusive experience for max 8 people in an amazing old cellar from the 19th century. We will meet to the Cantina and after a walk through the vineyards of Manarola, an old mule track, up to the panoramic point where the terraces descend overlooking the sea and the colorful houses and where you take beautiful pics, we will return to the cellar where the tasting of some local wines will begin: - 3 tasting glasses of white wine - 1 tasting glasses of rosé wine - 2 tasting glasses of red wine - 1 tasting glass of Sciachetra' the precious and rare sweet dessert wine with Cantucci biscuits. They will be served during the wine tasting local food products. Relax, good music and sharing at the convivial table. If you want to make the experience private and personal it is possible by reserving all seats. In case of rain we skip the walk in the vineyards and we stay in the cellar for the tasting. The times are entered by default, but they can be brought forward or postponed by an hour based on the diary and in the months of September, October and November the times are brought forward because the sun sets earlier.

5.00Maria was an excellent host during this event. She is very knowledgeable about the wine in the region as well as history of the area. The tour was very informative and the tasting was amazing. Great wine and lots of laughs with the group that joined us. We had a pleasant experience and I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Cinque Terre.

5.00We joined Maria for a wine tasting at Cantina Marinella, and it was without doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip to Cinque Terre. Maria is a wonderful host – warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about her wines. What really set this tasting apart was the way she had paired each wine with carefully chosen Italian specialities. A brilliant touch that elevated the whole experience and let every wine truly shine. We tasted alongside two other couples – one from the UK and one from Australia – and that mix of nationalities made for a wonderfully relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Exactly the kind of experience you remember long after the trip is over. Highly recommended for any wine lover visiting Manarola. Book ahead – you really don’t want to miss this.

5.00This experience exceeded our expectations. Maria is so nice, friendly, and passionate about wine. She told us some history about Manarola and helped us to understand the unique wines of the region and how the culture intersects with winemaking here. The shop is beautiful, simple and elegant. We were able to leave our back packs and do a walk into the nearby vineyards. The views were breathtaking. Back at the shop we tasted 8 wines (Maria was generous enough to offer an additional glass to us.) The wines were paired with local food and we were encouraged to try the wines without food and with different foods to see how they complimented each other differently. Maria was kind enough to ask us about allergens and happily accommodated my vegetarian diet. I will certainly be back with more friends and family as this experience was a highlight of our trip!

5.00Our group had a very nice time with Maria. We learned a lot about the unique vineyards and grape growing/harvesting process of Manarola and tasted some very good wines with local foods.

5.00Our wine tasting and vineyard tour in Manarola with Maria was the great!. The breathtaking views of terraced vineyards cascading down was truly one of the most picturesque places we’ve ever seen. Our host, Maria, was fun, easygoing, and knowledgeable, sharing not only great local wines but also the history behind each bottle. Every sip told a story. Walking through the vineyards, learning about the unique growing conditions, and then sitting back to enjoy perfectly paired tastings was an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting Cinque Terre, this is a must-do. Authentic, relaxing, and beautiful—we’ll be talking about this day (and the wines and food) for a long time.
