8:00 am: We’ll pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Danang city (around 30km). Starting a new day with the Marble Mountains morning tour will bring you a memorable spiritual experience. The tour will take you to Marble Mountains – one of Vietnam’s most famous tourist attractions, where the five mountains that symbolize the five basic elements of the universe converge. The Marble Mountains morning tour will give you a sense of peace and harmony between people and nature. This is an ideal opportunity to discover the unique cultural heritage and enjoy the fresh, fresh air of this sacred land.
The Marble Mountains
9:00 am : Discovery the Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Danang. Check in the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevator is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were made in the 19th century by the last dynasty of the Vietnam monarchy, and visit Huyền Không or Tàng Chơn Caves. Keep going to see the biggest fascinating cave named as Âm Phủ Cave. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos with amazing natural creations. Then we will visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble sculptures make by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain.

5.00John and “strong” (driver) were really nice. We did the private tour from Hoi An and got dropped off to our hotel in Da Nang. John, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable with so many things. Throughout the trip, he explained a lot of things to us from buddhism, the temples, food, and all the good stuff. We enjoyed this trip very much and will gladly book it again the next time we go to Vietnam. Thank you so much, John.

5.00We had such a wonderful Time with our tour guide John and our Driver Strong. John was so kind and thoughtful towards all of us throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable and had the answers to any questions we asked, We visited some great locations and his knowledge of the local area meant that he knew the best times to go to places ensuring that they weren’t too crowded or busy. I felt the tour was personalised and tailored to suit me and my family and John showed great care towards my Mum which I will always be grateful for. Thanks again John, you will be seeing us again for more tours when we return to Vietnam Mike

5.00I recommend Lanh from Hoi An. He is relaxed and tells you everything in English you should know and even could answer to all my questions. It is a comfortable journey, without any hiking as they have a lift to the top. I maybe would have bought a tea service manually made by the marble factory for 80€ if the additional weight would not exceed my luggage limit.

5.00We had a fantastic morning with John. He designed a custom tour for us from Hoi An to Da Nang. Dealing with John prior to the tour via email was fantastic and he was very responsive. John was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed his company alot. He also took lots of photos and shared them with us at the end.

5.00John was an amazing tour guide. He designed a custom half day tour for us including pick up in Hoi An and drop off in Danang. John was so easy to deal with via email and WhatsApp before the tour to arrange everything. We learnt a lot on the tour and John was friendly and knowledgeable. He took a stack of photos which he shared with us at the end of the tour. Definitely recommend.

5.00We had briefly visited Marble Mountains on our own a couple of years ago and this time it was a hundred times better with John an expert guide who is so knowledgeable. Also, after a short and pretty drive we arrived at Monkey Mountain with the adjacent giant Lady Bhudda Statue. Sadly, like most tourists, we never actually saw the fascinating looking 'red-shanked douc langurs' as they are quite rare - and it was a gorgeous, sunny day - and they prefer the cooler shade! Additionally, at the charming Lady Bhudda site we were fortunate to witness a large gathering of Monks for a religious event which made the day even better! Throughout the tour the blue skies really allowed some great views from the places visited and it was all so fun and relaxing. Finally, the tour ended with lunch in Danang at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant full of locals with John translating the menu and ordering food and drinks for us and providing lots of fascinating information about the tour and Vietnam. Overall, a great tour.

5.00We have had an incredible private tour with John. We really really wanted to see the rare red-shanked douc at Son Tra and he agreed to pick us up early on the morning and make a tour just for us. We saw four groupings of these amazing monkeys. John is a wealth of knowledge about all things Vietnam. Highly recommend for any tour. He’s very personable. Excellent guide.
