Climb up into the Safari truck, fasten your seatbelt and get ready for the Around the Island Safari Truck Tour! Your tour guide driver will be showing you historical sites, celebrity neighborhoods, mega mansions and more. We'll jump out and explore an ancient indian shell mound and talk about the native americans that lived here before us. We'll dive into how Marco Island turned into a tourist destination and became developed in the 1960s. But wait... what about the animals? We should be able to spot burrowing owls, gopher tortoises, green iguanas and birds of prey if we're lucky. This fun sightseeing tour lasts 1 HR and 30 mins. Kids can enjoy the on-board scavenger hunt where they look for landmarks and animals while we drive and win a prize at the end.

Your tour guide and driver will take you past multimillion dollar homes, historical sites & animal burrows on this sightseeing tour. Your tour guide will be pointing out interesting landmarks & talking to you about the history of the island. We typically have an opportunity to see burrowing owls, green iguanas, birds of prey & gopher tortoises! Our safari truck is family friendly and can hold up to 14 passengers. Kids will enjoy an on-board scavenger hunt and can even win a prize! ...and did we mention there's plenty of cheesy dad jokes? This is the most fun you can have on land in Marco Island!

NO INFANTS SORRY! Children under age 1 cannot participate.

5.00I took 4 grandkids (age 4-10). Kids loved the truck and the entire trip. I’ve been coming to Marco for 30 years and I saw parts of the island I have never seen before and learned new fun facts as well as seeing plenty of “wildlife.” The guide is entertaining and the kids really enjoyed the trip. Days later, they randomly come up with info they learned on trip. He also provides binoculars to use. Overall, a fun 1.5 hours and a good value!

5.00This was a fun way to explore Marco Island. Glenn was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about the history of the island, and saw lots of the local wildlife. The scavenger hunt was especially exciting for the kids! I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your visit, because Glenn pointed out lots of good beaches and restaurants to go to during your stay!

5.00Was a great tour! Saw iguanas, eagles, osprey, burrowing owls, and gopher tortoises. Glen was fun and very informative. We live in Naples and have been to Marco many times, but learned a lot of things we never knew about the island, including history of the island. The truck is comfortable and very clean and it was fun to ride around the island!

5.00My husband daughters (18 and 20) and I went on the tour. It was great. The tour guide was funny and really smart. We saw a ton of tortoises, iguanas and even a bald eagle. Highly recommend!
