  Our guides Christel / Volker have made our excursion very special with interesting facts and historical background. We were particularly impressed by the ride on the dunes with Volker. Throughout the whole, secondly adventurous, journey we felt very safe and well looked after. Good photo spots, insider knowledge and fun on the job have rounded off the afternoon wonderfully. Thank you so much!

  Overall, we had a great day! The tour on the water was not a tour by catamaran - as announced - but still a nice experience. Since we were only 6 people, this was very relaxed and cozy. The seals were an absolute highlight. Unfortunately, we haven't seen any pelicans. The afternoon tour was awesome! We were properly driven through the dunes - that was awesome!!!

  This full-day Marine Dune Day tour was the absolute highlight of our Namibia trip! It truly delivers the best of both worlds: a relaxing yet exciting catamaran cruise in the morning with dolphins, seals, pelicans, and stunning coastal views, followed by an exhilarating 4x4 dune drive to Sandwich Harbour in the afternoon – driving along the edge where the ocean meets towering dunes is unforgettable. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish – seamless transfers, good timing, and no stress at all. Our skipper Crystal on the catamaran was knowledgeable and fun, making sure we got great sightings, and our driver Volker in the dunes was super friendly, attentive, skilled, and full of interesting info about the landscape and wildlife. Highly recommend this combo if you want adventure, nature, and zero hassle – it exceeded expectations in every way!

  We had an absolutely outstanding half-day Desert Dunes & Dust tour, and it exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Riaan was a truly exceptional guide. His experience on the dunes was evident from the outset. Getting momentarily stuck in the sand at one point only added to the adventure—and watching him recover the vehicle effortlessly, without any external assistance, was a clear demonstration that experience genuinely matters out there. He took us to places we never expected to see, making the tour feel exclusive and well thought through rather than a standard route. Throughout the drive, Riaan kept the conversation flowing and shared deep knowledge of the area, its history, and the surrounding environment—something we particularly appreciated, as we arrived knowing very little about the region. The energy among all guests was fantastic, with everyone clearly excited and engaged throughout the experience. Coordination with his colleagues, including Gérard who managed part of the group, was seamless and professional. The day was rounded off perfectly with a lovely lunch, including thoughtful and special catering arrangements for us, which was greatly appreciated. In short, this tour delivered far more than promised. If you are looking for a dune experience that is authentic, expertly guided, informative, and genuinely memorable, this is the one to book.   The skipper of the catamaran, Crystal, and the driver of the 4x4, Andrew, gave us an unbelievable experience. Both are very witty but very professional in what they do. They gave us lots of fun and memories, but mostly we are grateful to them for attending to our needs. This was one of the best days during our stay in Namibia!

  Warren was our driver on the dunes portion of the day. We felt very safe with him and he was very accommodating. He stopped to let us take pictures. He was very knowledgeable and informative. The food and beverages were great! The catamaran was also very good. Happiness was informative and the rest of the crew were very accommodating. The food and beverages were great! The only issue we had was with the transportation from the port to the catamaran and following the catamaran they weren’t very efficient in picking us up. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Walvis Bay.
