  We had an absolutely outstanding half-day Desert Dunes & Dust tour, and it exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Riaan was a truly exceptional guide. His experience on the dunes was evident from the outset. Getting momentarily stuck in the sand at one point only added to the adventure—and watching him recover the vehicle effortlessly, without any external assistance, was a clear demonstration that experience genuinely matters out there. He took us to places we never expected to see, making the tour feel exclusive and well thought through rather than a standard route. Throughout the drive, Riaan kept the conversation flowing and shared deep knowledge of the area, its history, and the surrounding environment—something we particularly appreciated, as we arrived knowing very little about the region. The energy among all guests was fantastic, with everyone clearly excited and engaged throughout the experience. Coordination with his colleagues, including Gérard who managed part of the group, was seamless and professional. The day was rounded off perfectly with a lovely lunch, including thoughtful and special catering arrangements for us, which was greatly appreciated. In short, this tour delivered far more than promised. If you are looking for a dune experience that is authentic, expertly guided, informative, and genuinely memorable, this is the one to book.   The skipper of the catamaran, Crystal, and the driver of the 4x4, Andrew, gave us an unbelievable experience. Both are very witty but very professional in what they do. They gave us lots of fun and memories, but mostly we are grateful to them for attending to our needs. This was one of the best days during our stay in Namibia!

  Warren was our driver on the dunes portion of the day. We felt very safe with him and he was very accommodating. He stopped to let us take pictures. He was very knowledgeable and informative. The food and beverages were great! The catamaran was also very good. Happiness was informative and the rest of the crew were very accommodating. The food and beverages were great! The only issue we had was with the transportation from the port to the catamaran and following the catamaran they weren’t very efficient in picking us up. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Walvis Bay.

  Hubbie and I were fortunate enough to experience this fabulous full length day tour. We saw dolphins and seals no pelicans on Pelican Island, but a sumptuous feast on board, including oysters and champagne. The local cider and beer went down a treat too. We then went to see the flamingoes. They must have numbered thousands, but were spread out in large groups. We saw more in one place in the afternoon. Off then to see the pink lake and then we drove through the Namib Desert. Our driver Johan was exceptionally skilled at driving and very professional and took great care of us. I thought we were driving to see Dune 7, have a look and come back. But no, our dunes tour lasted about 2 and a half hours and included lunch also. The drive was terrifying, thrilling and joyous all at once. We seemed to drive vertically up and straight down at times, always in a convoy for safety. Our drive and driver exceeded all expectations. I couldn’t believe how exciting it was and Johan went out of his way to look after us. Thank you for giving us memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

  Great trip, Andrew our "dune guide" did a mega job, gave a lot of information and controlled the PickUp very confidently through the very impressive dunes 👍 And.....our forgotten binoculars he also brought us to the accommodation. Very nice!! The boat trip was also very nice, but the dunes clearly topped it.

  Exceptionell, Outstanding, 5-Stars !!! The Dune drive was unbelievable- always save with well educated drivers and well maintained cars. BREATHTAKING scenery. An absolute must! The guides (ours was VOLKER- German & English speaking. Very skilled with lots of good information and conversation) are mega friendly- taking care of everything and everybody. Looking for the best views and spectekular drives through the dunes- but always save- no risks taken. Christel, our captain 🧑‍✈️ had the same understanding of customers enrertainment and responsibility for her passengers. Very good food and fun. Summary: if you miss this- your trip to the Namibian Atlantic is incomplete !

  Had a great day with the catamaran cruise in the morning, enlivened by the on board presence of Captain Morgan, the seal and Lady Gaga, the pelican. In the afternoon we had an exhilarating drive along the coast and a fun roller coaster drive up and down the dunes with Andrew who was an excellent guide and driver. On both occasions we were served tasty snacks and drinks. A great day out.

  On time we were picked up at the hotel in Swakopmund and went to Walvis Bay on the catamaran! There we were warmly welcomed by Christel and the entire crew! We have seen sea lions, pelicans, dolphins and even several humpback whales! Christel has given us a lot of interesting information about the animals with your warm and open nature! The food was excellent! A great way to start the day! After the boat trip Volker picked us up and we went first to the salt lakes, past thousands of flamingos and baby jackals! Then off to the dunes: incredible experience! Volker entertained us with his friendly and open nature at all times and above all brought us safely through the dunes! For us it was worth every penny and we would do this trip again anytime! Thanks to Christel and Volker! It couldn't be better!
