3.00It was a bit odd our guide seemed nice enough and it started well but then he would take us to places and take us half way round, then stop explaining anything and tell us to meet him by the entrance when we were done. He then said he didn't want to take us to the tombs as they were overpriced and not interesting (fair) so he asked us if we wanted to do food history instead and we said yes. He then took us to a restaurant and told us there were videos upstairs and left. I'm not sure what we expected but the shopping tour the next day our guide showed us a lot more of Marrakech and the history so.... I think it all depends on your guide but it didn't seem very professional.

4.00Joining at the Hotel Cafe France was chaotic and frantic ! When we got back to the hotel we found we’d been sent a WhatsApp message from our guide with his photo - but by that time we were already in the city and without internet. So finding the right guide amongst the large number of people and guides was pretty stressful. It turned out we were the only English speakers in a group of Italians (who all knew each other!)- so a lot of translation went on ! Until our guide (very sensibly) spoke to his colleague and moved us to an English group. This was a great tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it - when we got to the right person !!
Rachid told interesting and informative parts from Marrakech's long history.

5.00This trip is great value for money. The hike to the waterfall is not too onerous and the guide was very helpful as the rocks can be a bit steep in places. Lunch by the river was spectacular but can be chilly so bring warm clothes The stop at a a Berber Village was very interesting too Highly recommended
