Our Marseille Food Tour is a walking tour in small groups around the old town. The tourist is guided by a Local Expert able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Our tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Provençal culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. Have a full meal in at least 4 stops: you will get the chance to try some of the most iconic dishes from Marseille, such as panisses, sauce aioli, calissons and much more!

What To Expect
You will have a taste of the famous roasted camembert à la Provençale. You can try to dip a crouton in it. It’s delicious. (tastings may vary according to the season)
Le Vieux Port
You will feel the Marseille atmosphere in some of the best brasseries of the Vieux Port, trying traditional tapas such as panisses, sardines and sauce aioli! (Tastings may vary according to the season).

5.00What a wonderful experience! We walked leisurely to different locations - air conditioned and patio under the shade trees - feed was delicious and portioned well. Our tour guide shared the history of the city and the food and drinks! I highly recommend this tour!

5.00It was a great food tour. Just the perfect amount of food and drinks and history. The tour guide was very accommodating to the group and made sure everyone had a good time even with food allergies...or non alcholic drinks. Side note: Nothing to do with the tour but if you are coming from a cruise ship, they drop you off close to the old port however it's still a decent walk to get to the meeting point.

5.00We enjoyed this tour. There were five food stops with some sight seeing/history mixed in. Three included alcoholic drink offerings. We got a good sense of local dishes and drinks with a greater appreciation of the Northern Africa influence on Marseilles.
