Our Marseille Food Tour is a walking tour in small groups around the Vieux Port area. You will guided by a Local Expert, who's able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and any other relevant curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience Food Tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing traditional culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend.
You will have an itinerant full meal in at least 4 stops and you will get the chance to try some of the most iconic dishes from Marseille, such as panisses, sauce aioli, calissons and much more!

5.00a great team bravo!! Take a real lunch break or take away proposals of dishes of the different day homemade and prepared and full of flavors from kebab to dishes soups and pidem exelent thank you for feasting us See you very soon

5.00Wow, this tour was so much fun and I’m still full! I didn't know much about the food in Marseille before, but the guide was super nice and took us to all these cool little spots I never would’ve found on my own. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the seafood and the little sweets at the end. It felt like a giant dinner party with new friends. You definitely get a lot of food for your money, so don't eat breakfast before you go! I had a great time walking around the city and seeing the sights while we ate.

We only had a day to spend in M and this was such a memorable way to spend it…..beautiful local food/drink and a quick visit to the markets to see and taste the multicultural aspects of the city. 5.00We met up with our guide, Jean, right on time and it was a fantastic experience. Jean was an absolute wealth of not only local knowledge about the food and the area, but was also the history of Marseille and its peoples. We thoroughly enjoyed the diversity of the foods and restaurants as well as the easy going and friendly way Jean handled the tour. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
Good Food but Limited History and Culture

4.00We are a family who loves to eat and wanted to savor what Marseille has to offer. This was a good, but not great, experience. The first two stops were terrific showcasing the traditions of Marseille with a baked Camembert (with Pastis) and mussels (paired with a great white wine). The last three stops were simpler. The first was for fried sardines and pansies. Even for a simple street food, these were just average. Deserts came from two stops a nice candy store for navettes and an Arab bakery for a wide assortment of baklavas. Both reflected the town’s rich heritage and were delicious. In all, we were left wanting more. I think another stop or two would have made the experience better. Our guide Julia was not a foodie and commented that she only liked three cheeses and was not an adventurous eater. How can you lead a food tour if you do not love food.
