Choose from one of 4 departure times when you book. Your Martinborough small-group guided wine-tasting tour runs for approximately 8 hours around the Martinborough appellation. Relax in the comfort of a luxurious vehicle as your local guide drives you around our unique wine village which has a bit of everything. Take a guided walk among grape vines tasting wine as you go at an award-winning vineyard and enjoy our local cuisine with lunch at a top vineyard restaurant. Taste wine along Martinborough's famous 'Golden Mile' strip of vineyards and hear enlightening commentary as you travel. Your tour concludes with an olive grove tour and taste. Round-trip pickup and drop-off from your centrally located Martinborough accommodation or the Featherston Railyway is included.

5.00Kudos to Matthew and Lee for an ideal day of wine tasting and local history. We visited four wineries, including a tasty lunch at one of them. We even had a wee gin tasting along the way. We appreciated their focus on local small vineyards along side larger wineries. A highlight was meeting the vintner at a small winery and really diving into the process. So interesting. The wines in Martinborough are delightful. We are new to NZ wines and this tour deepened our knowledge and appreciation of Kiwi wines. Matthew and Lee shared their passion not just for the wines but also for the community. And when we decided to spend the night - to enjoy some local gin flights and a delicious meal- Lee got it sorted in no time. This day was a highlight of our time in Wellington. We’ll do it again when next we come back.

5.00I am giving a 5 star rating, should actually be a 4.8 star rating. outstanding guide and driver, on time, nice vehicle, with a great understanding of the region and the wineries. Extremely helpful as I have serious mobility problems, and was able to accommodate at every step in our tour. The only issue is that I planned to have a private lunch with my companion, however the driver sat at our table while we had lunch without asking whether it was ok, and in this case it was not ok.

5.00A wonderful experience. We had so much fun on this tour. Our fellow tasters were a lot of fun and the wineries we visited were welcoming and only too happy to explain the regions variance and wine making techniques.

5.00We had such fun with a fabulous guide and a terrific group of people. Every winery had a good range of wines on offer and the staff were only too happy to impart their knowledge of the region and wines offered.

5.00Excellent tour, extending over 6 hours. Tour group of 7, international travellers. Karen, our dedicated guide, was knowledgeable, patient, and provided great information on the district, the wineries, and the history of wine in Martinborough. The wineries visited covered a range from small “boutique” vineyards to some of the most expensive operations in the district. The tasting samples were extensive and included all the major varieties of wine grown in Martinborough. Hosts were obliging and generous, both of their time, and in the samples offered. We certainly came away from this experience with a good knowledge of the wines available in Martinborough, and more particularly with a better understanding of the differences, similarities, and the effects on climate as far as the individual wines were concerned. Highly recommended. Rp

5.00We had a fabulous time with Trinity in Martinborough. Unfortunately the train was replaced with buses and started the day off late but Trinity adjusted without putting the other guests out and replaced a wine tasting with a bottle of wine for lunch. It was an engaging and entertaining tour of Martinborough learning from a true local. We would absolutely recommend Trinity and the team for any wine tour and adventure in the region!
