Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel to the assembling point between 7:00-7:30am. Thereafter, the safari starts around 8:30 am to Masai Mara with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a chance to view and take pictures of the Great Rift Valley. Thereafter, proceed to Masai Mara via Narok Town. You'll arrive at Masai Mara at around 1:30 pm. Check into your respective camp, have Lunch and after refreshments proceed to a late afternoon game drive inside the famous Masai Mara National Reserve until 6:30 pm when the park closes. You'll have dinner and sleep at wildnest Lenchada Sankale or budget tented camp with self-contained tents.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
This is a busy day! After early breakfast with a picnic lunch, you'll spend a full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You'll have the chance to visit the Mara River at the border of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a large concentration of many animals. We'll take our lunch by the river under a tree inside the park. Later in the evening at the camp, you will have the option of doing a walking safari that leads you to a Maasai village. This is an optional activity and costs an extra USD $10 to $20, it's negotiable and paid directly at the village. Dinner and night stay at Wildnest Lenchada Sankale or a budget tented camp with self-contained tents.

After breakfast. You'll have an optional cultural visit to the masai village. Afterwards, check out and drive back to Nairobi via Narok town. You'll be arriving in Nairobi at around 3:30 pm for a drop off at your hotel.

5.00It was my first Safari and it was an unforgettable experience. Immersed in the Maasai culture and the unspoilt nature of the nature reserve we lived three thrilling days in close contact with the local fauna: lions, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs and many other animals were just a few meters from us. Jack was an attentive and helpful guide and together with Axis I highly recommend them!

5.00This was our first trip to Africa, and we truly cannot express enough the joy and appreciation we feel for this entire experience. Thank you Axis! We did extensive research beforehand to find and choose the best tour operator for us, and we are so glad we made the right choice. From beginning to end, the entire process was a wonderful experience — the planning, the communication, the questions and answers, and above all, the trip itself. We felt the care and professionalism of Axis Africa Safaris every step of the way. Due to time constraints, we were only able to do a very short trip — 2 nights and 3 days (yes… we can hear the sighs!). Yet we were very fortunate to cover everything we had planned and to experience incredible sightings that far exceeded our expectations. In just three short days, we covered the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha, and we saw the Big Five along with so many other birds and animals. Jack was our tour guide throughout. Thanks to his knowledge, experience, and outstanding driving skills, we lived the epic safari experience to the fullest and loved every moment. We highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris to anyone who wishes to be as happy, thrilled, and appreciative as we are!

5.00The experience was truly unique. The entire staff behaved wonderfully — they were welcoming and helped us with everything we asked for. The experience certainly wouldn’t have been as special with another guide; Bryan was simply the best. All the information he shared with us was detailed and insightful, and during the safari he made every effort to ensure we had the most beautiful experience possible. 5.00Omg best safari ever! Brian was AMAZING. Best guid, best driver, he find the best spots for us! Everything was as we hoped to be, this 3 days in safari were perfect, we saw lions, cheetah in action cheasing a cow, giraffes, zebra, elephants , rynos and so on. Top 5* safari! Amazing experiance thanks to Brian !

5.00We have just returned from the most incredible safari experience in Kenya, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. From the very beginning, the communication and booking process with Axis was seamless and stress-free. Philip was absolutely brilliant, he answered every single question quickly and thoroughly, making us feel completely confident and excited about our trip. Cynthia and Lennox were also fantastic and equally helpful. The whole team made the planning process so simple and smooth. The tour itself was outstanding value for money. We chose to do a private safari, and I would highly recommend this to anyone considering it. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, yet it didn’t cost a fortune. Having that personal experience made everything feel special and tailored just for us. Our guide, Ken, was simply amazing. He completely made the trip what it was. From the moment we met him, we felt in safe and capable hands. He drove safely at all times, was incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable for me and my mum. His knowledge of Kenya’s history, the different tribes, the landscapes, and of course the wildlife was exceptional. No question was too much for him. He explained everything with such passion and enthusiasm. What really stood out was how determined he was to make sure we saw everything we hoped for. After spotting all of the Big 9 and so many other incredible animals, we really wanted to see a leopard. Ken went completely out of his way in both the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru to help us find one and thanks to him, we did! It was such an exciting and special moment that we will never forget. His dedication, persistence, and genuine desire for us to have the best possible experience was truly remarkable. Ken wasn’t just a guide - he was kind, professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He made the entire safari extraordinary.
