Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel to the assembling point between 7:00-7:30am. Thereafter, the safari starts around 8:30 am to Masai Mara with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a chance to view and take pictures of the Great Rift Valley. Thereafter, proceed to Masai Mara via Narok Town. You'll arrive at Masai Mara at around 1:30 pm. Check into your respective camp, have Lunch and after refreshments proceed to a late afternoon game drive inside the famous Masai Mara National Reserve until 6:30 pm when the park closes. You'll have dinner and sleep at wildnest Lenchada Sankale or budget tented camp with self-contained tents.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
This is a busy day! After early breakfast with a picnic lunch, you'll spend a full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You'll have the chance to visit the Mara River at the border of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a large concentration of many animals. We'll take our lunch by the river under a tree inside the park. Later in the evening at the camp, you will have the option of doing a walking safari that leads you to a Maasai village. This is an optional activity and costs an extra USD $10 to $20, it's negotiable and paid directly at the village. Dinner and night stay at Wildnest Lenchada Sankale or a budget tented camp with self-contained tents.

After breakfast. You'll have an optional cultural visit to the masai village. Afterwards, check out and drive back to Nairobi via Narok town. You'll be arriving in Nairobi at around 3:30 pm for a drop off at your hotel.

5.00I loved the experience! It was my first safari and it was amazing. Our tour guide was Yasin and it was noticeable the knowledge and experience he has. I felt we were always on top of things, seeing the best moments of the animals. I really recommend this trip!

5.00We had a wonderful time and made unforgettable memories. We felt safe and comfortable in the hands of Yasin, our guide. We spent our summer vacation in Kenya with Axis Safari for 7 days, and it was truly mesmerizing. The days passed so quickly, and every day brought a new experience. Seeing wildlife in their natural home is a different feeling altogether, especially with a guide like Yasin. I would like to take this moment to sincerely thank Yasin for the exceptional care and hospitality he showed us throughout the trip. He is not only highly professional but also kind, patient, friendly, and always smiling. His passion for wildlife and nature truly made our safari experience special. He has vast knowledge about wildlife, explained everything politely, and made sure we were learning and enjoying every single moment. Yasin always made us feel secure and comfortable during the journey. His driving skills were excellent, especially on the challenging safari roads, and we were truly impressed by his confidence and experience. He was always punctual, attentive to our needs, and eager to make every game drive exciting and memorable. We traveled with our 7-year-old daughter, and it was heartwarming to see how caring and friendly he was with her. They became very good friends, and she was always excited to spend time with him during the safari. Leaving Kenya was very emotional for us, and we are going back with heavy hearts but beautiful memories that will stay with us forever. Thank you, Yasin, for making this trip one of the best experiences of our lives. We would highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

"We just finished an incredible circuit through Amboseli and the Maasai Mara with Axis Africa Safaris, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Yasin, was the absolute highlight of the trip. Traveling with kids can be a challenge, but Yasin was so friendly and patient with them, making sure they were engaged and happy the whole time. Most importantly, we always felt safe—his driving across the rugged terrain was professional and steady. He provided amazing personal support and felt like part of the family by the end. If you’re booking with Axis, definitely ask for 'The King' Yasin!" Overall Axis Africa Safaris delivered a dream trip, but our guide Yasin was the true standout. He is a total expert in birds and animals, providing fascinating insights into animal behavior that made every sighting feel like a masterclass.

5.00We had an unforgettable safari experience with Richard from Axis Africa Safaris. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about wildlife and Kenya. Thanks to Richard, we had incredible sightings throughout the trip — including lions up close, giraffes, elephants, and so much more. He always positioned the Land Cruiser perfectly for photos and never rushed us during sightings. His knowledge of animal behavior and the reserve really made the experience feel special. He was also extremely punctual, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure we had the best possible safari experience every single day. The balance between wildlife, scenery, culture, and comfort was excellent, and Richard played a huge role in that. We came away with amazing memories and thousands of photos we’ll keep forever. 5.00I came to Nairobi for a conference, so I had very little time, but I wanted to make a safari no matter what. I was worried because I was alone and short on time, and not knowing who to hire for your first safari is not easy. However, i must say I made the perfect decision with Axis Africa Safari. Despite the rain during my safari that made it trickier to see the animals, the expertise of Mr. Khalifa as a guide, his friendliness, and his super good vibes made me have an incredible experience despite the bad weather. As a woman traveling solo, I truly appreciated the care that both, Mr. Khalifa and Tabitha from Axis Africa Safaris gave me. Also, the booking was very uncomplicated, the fees were clear from the start (and stayed that way), and I can’t say it enough: I had the best time. Thank you for this experience!

5.00This is my second time touring with Axis. They were once again reliable, delivered everything they offered right on time. Jack our guide was very considerate Incase of delays on our end. Cynthia was sweet enough to surprise me and my husband with honeymoon decor in our room since she was aware that we had just gotten married. I would totally recommend them!!

5.00It was my first Safari and it was an unforgettable experience. Immersed in the Maasai culture and the unspoilt nature of the nature reserve we lived three thrilling days in close contact with the local fauna: lions, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs and many other animals were just a few meters from us. Jack was an attentive and helpful guide and together with Axis I highly recommend them!

5.00This was our first trip to Africa, and we truly cannot express enough the joy and appreciation we feel for this entire experience. Thank you Axis! We did extensive research beforehand to find and choose the best tour operator for us, and we are so glad we made the right choice. From beginning to end, the entire process was a wonderful experience — the planning, the communication, the questions and answers, and above all, the trip itself. We felt the care and professionalism of Axis Africa Safaris every step of the way. Due to time constraints, we were only able to do a very short trip — 2 nights and 3 days (yes… we can hear the sighs!). Yet we were very fortunate to cover everything we had planned and to experience incredible sightings that far exceeded our expectations. In just three short days, we covered the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha, and we saw the Big Five along with so many other birds and animals. Jack was our tour guide throughout. Thanks to his knowledge, experience, and outstanding driving skills, we lived the epic safari experience to the fullest and loved every moment. We highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris to anyone who wishes to be as happy, thrilled, and appreciative as we are!
