We are ready to safely guide you through 617 curves and 56 one lane bridges and lead you back in time to the historic moments and legendary tales that shape the islands.

Accessibility Notice Please note that our tour is not wheelchair accessible. Due to federal and state safety regulations, we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, or similar mobility devices on board, as our vehicle is not ADA-compliant and such items may pose safety hazards during travel. Canes are permitted, but walking sticks are not allowed. There is a low step to board the van, and all guests must be able to get on and off the vehicle independently, without assistance from the driver. Most Road to Hana tours operated legally have similar restrictions, as ADA-compliant vans are wider and subject to different regulations.

Hana Highway - Road to Hana
The Hana Highway is a 64.4-mile-long (103.6 km) , longest, coastal scenic route in the world. To the east of Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kipahulu as Hawaii Route 31 (the Piilani Highway). This tour covers 59 single lane bridges, over 640 turns and curves, through lush, tropical rainforest. Most of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910
Paia
Just four miles into your drive to Hāna from Kahului, you'll discover the historic town of Pāʻia on Maui's north coast. Divided into Lower Pāʻia and Pāʻia, this hospitable community was once a booming plantation town during the heyday of Maui's sugar cane industry. Today Pāʻia is a town of colorful, rustic storefronts filled with local art galleries, one-of-a-kind shopping boutiques and restaurants.

5.00It's a long day but having someone else drive for us so that we can see everything and take pictures without worrying about the narrow roads makes such a difference. It was an overcast and rainy day so we didn't swim but it was well worth it even if you don't. The sprinter van was not full which was great!

5.00We loved it! Still do, as it was memorable. So grateful for the tour guide who knew so much and was entertaining, and that we did not have to drive it ourselves because it will Actually take your breath away with eyes wide open at times. We felt very safe the entire time. Beautiful with spectacular views, culture, and vistas.! There is much you will miss with your time in Maui if you do not take this tour. Mahalo to all who made this happen for us.. Again :) Mahalo

5.00Roger did a great job of driving and providing commentary during the ride. We saw as much as possible during the 8 hour trip. Some very beautiful sites.

5.00I would HIGHLY recommend doing the Road to Hana tour with Stardust Hawaii. Especially if you can get Roger as your driver and guide! Not only is he incredibly friendly, humorous, and accommodating, his knowledge of Maui is immense. He has a gifted ability to tell stories that draw you into the complicated history of Hawaii and all the islands. Roger has been leading tours for many years and his experience shows in spades. He'll even show you how to jump off a waterfall, if you so dare! Hūlō!

5.00Incredible- our tour guide Rodger was wonderful! Lots of information about Hawaii, the vegetation, land marks, Hawaiian history. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge. The van was very comfortable and easy to get into. There was plenty of time to see the lush, dense tropical forest and Rodger was explaining the different vegetation.

5.00A great trip, Marty has great knowledge of the drive, the history of everywhere we visited, and was a very safe and conscientious driver, and a great conversationalist. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Marty even picked up some local fruits we could share, to try, at one of our breaks along the way. I highly recommend both the driver, and the trip.
Nice intro to this part of Maui!
