8.15am - You will start your day at our main office, which is right next to the famous Palau de la Musica. You will meet your guide, have time to use the restrooms, and perhaps even grab a quick coffee before the tour begin. Your guide will explain all about the day ahead and what to expect as you wait for you tour to leave.

8.30am - You will leave Barcelona though the Example district of town. As you head out of the city, your guide will give you a brief history of Barcelona, before letting you sit back and relax on the 90 minute drive to Besalu.

Rod is my guide for the day. He is very animated in his explanation making it very interesting and pointed out a lot of details. He is very attentive to our needs and patient with questions. Definitely would like to be on his tour again.

Beautiful countryside tour to spend a day outside of Barcelona! Rod, our tour guide was outstanding. Personable, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Besalú was a beautiful Medieval village. Village well maintained. Wish we could have had more time here. Rupert was the second village. A little smaller, but also interesting. Tavertet was less about the village & more about the scenery & mountains around it. Highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful the 3 villages visited. Very pleasant atmosphere, clearly inspired by Pablo, our guide, and Lidia, our driver. Very pleasant travel times, enriching and entertaining. We had lunch in a nice place with delicious food and had time to tour on our own. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. We really enjoyed it. Thanks to the Catalonia Explorer team

The 3 midieval towns were each very unique. Nu, our guide, was excellent and informative. She shared a lot of local information on history and good places to eat. The transportation was comfortable and we had enough time to explore. Recommend this to all.
