In the Old Town Hall’s enigmatic underground we will discover not only former Romanesque and Gothic houses, but even an original street. The labyrinthine subterranean system is older than the Town Hall itself, and the complex of medieval halls, passages and tunnels is the largest of its kind in Prague. At the point where the unspoilt streets of Prague’s Old Town give way to the redeveloped Jewish Quarter, you will see how Prague progressively grew in height.

5.00Excellent tour, with lots of interesting places to see and experience. The history of Prague is fascinating, and seeing how people lived in medieval times was pretty amazing. We took several guided tours while in Prague, and this was one of the best. Jana was very knowledgeable and inner of the most friendly tour guides we had in Prague. There are some guides that are a bit...aloof, but Jana was perfect. You should ask for her. 🙂

5.00Our guide Markéta gave a great tour, showing interesting sights underground and above ground, accompanied by interesting stories and humour. Tour took 2 hours for 600 krones, with a group of 10 people. Recommendation for tourists from all ages

5.00The tour was a comprehensive history of the underground along with other history of the city. It took about 90 minutes which was perfect for our first day in Prague. Matej was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the underground and other Prague history. His English was very good and his description of different people and events was both entertaining and educational. Our 14 year old enjoyed the tour as well and I would highly recommend it to families with teenagers.

5.00The tour was very interesting, and immersive as well. It was a bit hard to conceive that such wonders are right beneath our feet, and several don’t even know that it exists. Our guide, Stephan, managed to explain Prague’s history with both enthusiasm and care, and this elevated the tour to another level. We’re very glad that we did that tour, and recommend to any tourist coming to Prague. It’s a must to understand more about both the city and European culture.
