Very tight on the wine tasting…

3.00Clementine was a really lovely guide. The tour was informative. It would have been nice to have free time in Saint Emilion rather than having to stay together as a group. The amount of wine on the wine tasting was also very poor… there were 3 wines which is fine (it says it in the description for the activity), but the host was sharing was one bottle of each wine to taste between 2 groups of 8 people, so you really did get a drop of each one to taste. You didn’t get to try a bit more of the one you liked best at the end (like every other wine tasting I’ve been to) as there was literally nothing left… it just felt pretty tight and considering the wine tasting was the main point of the trip, it was quite disappointing. Would recommend getting a train to Saint Emilion and doing it all yourself instead - the town really is so pretty and we wish we’d been able to explore it more.

5.00Really enjoyed the half day wine tasting - Gabriel covered a lot of information about the history of St Emilion (as well as the wines!), in a very friendly and relaxed style. We learned so much in such a short tour. Highly recommended
Although Clementine was wonderful this tour was not worth the money.

4.00Clementine was a wonderful host. Friendly and very informative. We saw some lovely views and countryside. However the wine tasting itself was disappointing. We went to 2 vineyards and tasted 2 wines and then 3 wines. The first we did not tour at all, the second was an improvement. At k lm east we saw the workings of the vineyard, though not the Chateau as promised. Not worth the money.

5.00We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visiting Médoc wine region, visiting chateaus and tasting different Bordeaux wines. Vikki was a wonderful guide and was extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00Truly a remarkable experience… especially if you get Melanie as your travel guide! The Château’s are beautiful and the wine is spectacular. We even made a little unexpected stop at a chocolatier that is well-known as superior in the area, and we would agree. Our guide, Melanie, was extremely informative and tremendously social. Her knowledge of the area and everything about the wines, and the process of making the wines, and the importance of the land was pretty amazing. Her personality is a perfect match for her chosen profession! Highly recommend!
