I would not recommend booking this tour through Viatour. There is a serious disconnect between Viatour and the tour operator. I made a booking for a special occasion (a 60th birthday) but the tour was cancelled by the operator and the earliest we could be rescheduled was 2 months after the initial date of the adventure. In the meantime, Viatour kept sending me messages about the upcoming trip and telling me how much I would enjoy it. When the tour was rescheduled all Viatour did was send the details of the tour operator, telling me to contact them to reschedule or seek a refund. My recommendation is to give Viatour a miss and book direct with the balloon operators. Viatour seem to have no influence with the tour operator to achieve an outcome that is even moderately satisfactory to their customer.

Very memorable experience. Def a must do when visiting Melbourne. We had the opportunity to help with balloon set up and deflation process at the end as well!! Loved it
