I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Penguin Parade, and it was truly a magical experience to watch these little penguins return to shore at sunset. It's so beautiful, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the guides do an excellent job of explaining the importance of protecting the penguins and their habitat. One downside, however, was that many visitors unfortunately ignored the clear rules about not taking photos or videos, despite repeated reminders from the guides. This was disappointing to see. I hope future visitors will respect the rules, allowing everyone to enjoy the parade while ensuring the safety and well-being of these amazing animals. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience that I would still highly recommend to anyone who loves wildlife.

There were a lot of visitors as expected and overall people did out their phones away as requested by the guides but there will always be the annoying few who have FOMO and use theor phones to take videos and photos, spoiling the experience for others sitting near them. I could barely see the penguins as they came ashore, but managed to see some in their burrows ok the walk back to the main hall. I enjoyed the experience as I knew that my purchasing a ticket would go towards supporting the sanctuary and its inhabitants.

This tour is totally scam, we spent one hour waiting in the cheese tasting section and at last we try nothing because the appointment are messed up and couldn’t be arranged, after that we went to the chocolate factory for lunch break, the tour guide said the puffing Billy isn’t included, everyone was surprised and tour guide spent one and half hours to negotiating with his boss and as a result they can only offer a free ticket for the zoo, more than that he said we need to pay for the transportation back to the city if we wanted to, even the tour guide said the advertisement is misunderstanding as they put all spots into the pictures and they said the day which they can provide the railway ticket will change more, but how can a tourist check those things like these, as a result we need to pay $100 uber back to city since it takes two hours to the Philip island, no alternative plans can be provided, they said they are just cooperating with each other and nothing can be changed, so most of the tourists are forced to keep going for the trip as they are tourists for few days here.
