I’ve been on lots of food tours and this may be the best one. There were only 2 of us today so we were able to complete the tour faster than usual but without rushing. We were over stuffed about half way through the tour. Our guide kept reminding us that we didn’t have to eat/drink all of anything offered. We appreciated that but wasting food should be a sin so we shared a few dishes. Everything is so tasty at the marketplace. The fruits and veggies are bigger and fresher than any from the best USA markets, IMO Our guide offered to take up the extra time by showing is some craftwork but we declined. We were 2 happy foodies glad to be done before it got any hotter. We highly recommend this tour.

We had the food tour with our guide laura and it was amazing! We loved that there have been just 10 people in the group, so there was always the oportunity to ask some questions. The food experience were very different and always very tasty! An absolutely must have for your stay in merida! Laura told us a lot about the maya culture too. We had some fresh fruits, fresh fruit juices, special ice cream, soupa de lima and of course some phantastic tacos! The atmosphere, the food and the tour (ca. 4hours) was a perfect afternoon in merida!

The guid was wonderful and the food we had was sooo good. You'll leave this tour so satisfiedand full. All the food was included. And there was a couple of stops that we had fresh local juices. I did wish that the guid spent a bit more time giving us a bit more history of the areas we visited during the tour....but definitely not a deal breaker.

We had a delightful day with Annette! We tried drinks and food which we would not have eaten without her, iInto the market and some places in the Zocolo. We also made friends to share in other tours in Merida! Highly recommend!

This was the perfect way to start my trip! I was able to see a few areas of town and also try a variety of foods. I liked several enough that I ordered them many other times during my stay in Merida!

The food was tasty and varied, however we would have liked more tour of the products in the MARKETS. We did not see enough of the ingredients such as poultry, meat, fish. We would have liked more tour of the markets themselves.

Today we were in a very nice group traveling to two markets in Merida and were able to taste local drinks and different kinds of empanadas and tacos. All very delicious and interesting.
