A unique and completely incomparable experience with a knowledgeable guide that accompanies you in this three-hour tour around Merida, typically away from common tourist hot-spots. 5.00Marcos was amazing and went out of his way to accommodate the entire group and ensure everyone was having a great time. He has us try different foods around the mercado in addition to the foods included in our tour. The food was all delicious and everyone had fun!

5.00Food was absolutely delicious, I felt we really got to experience authentic flavours and seasonal foods. Marcos was friendly and knowledgeable , not only about the food but also the history. The tour moved at a good pace, and Marcos was mindful of the heat, crowds, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of, he had plenty of wet wipes and clean cutlery which I appreciated.

5.00Our guide, Annette, was so fun and bubbly. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions (even if they weren’t about food). She gave us great recommendations for our trip and the aguas frescas were so good we went back on our own to try more. Highly recommend if you want to get a local feel of Merida and try traditional dishes that taste way better than what you get at the restaurants nearby. Thank you Annette!

She is an excellent host—warm, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about the history and culture of Mérida and the Yucatán region. Her explanations brought the city to life in such an engaging way.
