The trip will be a fantastic experience. We will travel approximately 45 minutes on the motorway from Messina to Taormina.

Castelmola

Once you arrive in Castelmola you can admire one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, taste the almond wine of the famous Bar Turrisi. The characteristic of the bar is the presence of phallic shapes used as decoration. These shapes are not to be designated as a symbol of vulgarity, but as a symbol of fertility, prosperity and freedom according to Greek culture. Plus Alex will take you to taste some delicious Sicilian cannoli from the legendary Stefania Pittitti.

    We had an absolutely fantastic time with Pari and Alessandro. They met us right near the cruise ship. The van was very comfortable, had ac and bottled water. On our way Pari told us some history of Sicily and Alessandro sang us some songs. Our first stop was a very picturesque town where we enjoyed almond wine and delicious cannolies. We had some free time for pictures and shopping. Next we stopped in Taromina. We explored the town, ate lunch at a restaurant with a lovely overlook and did some shopping. Lastly we visited a wonderful clock tower in Messina before heading back to th ship. I 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Taromina without the hassle of public transport or giant tour busses.

    Great tour! Like a fairy tail dream day . So happy we did this private. We spent as much time as we wanted where we wanted and ate lunch when we wanted. Such beautiful scenery. Will book again if we return to this port. The driver guide was great. So friendly and accommodating. Even gave us a little present remembrance.

    This was a great tour. Francesco drove and Aurora provided insightful information on Sicily’s history and culture and other interesting details about the whole story of what Sicily and Messina is, including the two towns on the tour. Francesco added to the discussion as well. They did a wonderful job tailoring the message to fit our needs and desires
