To access the terraces, participants must climb 150 narrow steps—there is no elevator.
Children under 7 years old are not permitted on the terraces and therefore cannot join the tour.
Closed-toe, flat shoes are mandatory. High heels and flip-flops are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Modest attire is required to enter places of worship: shoulders and knees must be covered. Tank tops and short dresses are not allowed.
Backpacks are not allowed inside the Accademia or Duomo.
Photography is only permitted without flash inside the museums
Do not lean over railings or extend objects, including cell phones, beyond them.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who assumes full responsibility.
Maximum group size is 10 participants.

5.00Our tour was fantastic. Martina was very knowledgeable and friendly and thoroughly enjoyed her job, you could tell. The 1-hour length was perfect. Would definitely recommend. This was the 2nd Liv tour we did while in Italy, and they are worth every penny.

5.00The amazing Barbara….our second tour with her while in Florence. She was warm and welcoming as usual. She is so keen that she guided our group of five to be the VERY FIRST in the building to view David. Breathtaking it was. She provided all of the history and detail from every angle of this magnificent sculpture. A most special morning it was.

5.00Martina did a great job explaining David in context on Florence and MichaelAngelo's life, along with MichaelAngelo's other sculptures on site, and even some added info about medieval art as it moved into the renaissance! Once again, LivTours lives up to it's expectations

5.00It was stunning to see the David before too many visitors were in the museum. The sculpture is so perfect and so perfectly displayed that it is jaw dropping. But, do note: you will not be in the museum before the public is allowed in. The museum opens at 8:15 and you will be first in line. But the public will come in. The guide, Barbara (nicknamed Bobbi), was great at ushering me in faster than the public. But they did come in. And just to note: It was great to be in the museum in January because the crowds were limited.

Our guide Monica was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, so friendly and got us right to David before the large crowds arrived — her passion for art and history really brought Michelangelo’s masterpiece to life. She shared fascinating details and stories we had never heard before, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Liv Tours has the absolute best guides and you should not hesitate to book any tours with them. This experience was a true lifetime highlight and one of those "I can't believe I am here" moments.
