Join us for a leisurely stroll through Savannah's Historic District as we go by locations featured in the book. Here the real stories and see the real photos of these characters from the book that helped put Savannah's tourism on the map. In addition to the locations listed, we also stop by the home where John Berendt lived when he first arrived in Savannah, along with Joe Odom's House, the home of Helen Drexel (Serena Dawes in the book and the film), as well as a few other locations.

We stop outside here to discuss the story of Luther Driggers (Maurice Elmore Fetzer, Jr.) and how he relates to the book. He would eat breakfast here every morning.

5.00Our tour guide was exceptional. If you loved the book, don't miss this tour because you will learn so much about it, as well as the history of Savannah. Be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces and don't forget to eat lunch at Clary's after the tour.
