Paddling with the midnight sun is an unique experience that we can only do inside the polar circle. This gives us the chance to go kayaking in the evening when the sun goes down but never over the horizon.

On the bright summer nights we can paddle close to the coastline and small islands while enjoying homemade tea and stories about the Vikings. The beautiful background of the mountain of Eggum and the midnight sun makes this tour unforgettable. It’s a great time to observe seabirds and the wonderful colors of the sky not to talk about the color of the water. For this trip, it’s not necessary to have any previous experience. 99% of our guests never kayaked before. We are meeting for this trip in Eggum at the Harbour at 22:00 and we will be back around 01:00am ( approx) Please note that the starting time from the 1st of August will be adjusted to the sunset time! The exact time will be sent per SMS, email or here on Viator. We are using only double kayaks which makes this tour even mor fun for everyone! 5.00A magnificent and unforgettable experience: gliding on the water in a golden light that never fades, surrounded by silent and almost unreal landscapes. A true suspended moment. Be careful, though, for people over 60: the outing remains sporty and intense. It is better to be in good physical shape to fully enjoy it.

5.00We made a wonderful kayak trip in the adjacent bay. Maneuvering the kayak is very simple and is not physically demanding. We were very lucky, it was clear and there was no wind. The sea was flat and the sunset light accompanied us. The landscapes are beautiful. We were accompanied by the guide Lucio, with a group of 10 people, 5 kayaks. Lucio is very nice; he contributed to the enjoyment of the tour. Highly recommended!
