  The scenery all the way from Queenstown was beautiful and the coach driver Ian provided so much information about what we were seeing that the journey to Milford Sound was really enjoyable. The boat trip through Milford Sound was incredible. We didn’t leave the top deck as we didn’t want to miss a moment.

  One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. The cruise was amazing, took us deep into the fjord, saw hundreds of waterfalls. The drive to Milford Sound is wild, but fun!

  Great cruise on the incredibly beautiful Milford Sound. Great narration and information along the way. They pulled right up to the waterfall so we could experience the mist and get the "Glacial Facial". Helpful staff. Clean, comfortable ship.

  This day tour was a definite highlight for both of us. We loved every moment of the day. The drive into Milford Sound was very scenic and our tour guide, Stuart, was well informed on the area and made the tour one to remember. The terrain was so unique and awe inspiring. The boat trip was fabulous. The NZ ingredient lunch provided with this tour was an amazing experience as well. Everyone on board had a great time, due to the amazing surroundings and the incredible efforts of all of the RealNZ team members. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly.

  One of our party does not like sailing so the rain lashing down and the wind picking up did not bode well especially while queueing (outside) well past boarding time to get on the boat. We were on the bottom deck so the water regularly covered the porthole which was disconcerting. More so was the dirty bedding and wet towels we found in the cabin. Clearly, even after delaying the boarding they had not had time to clean up! However, from then on it was great. We were the last to eat so they had run out of a couple of things but there was plenty. The boat trip was well managed although we missed the penguins, although they popped up for the next boat. The company was great and the chief was knowledgeable and personable. The weather may have been grim but it made the waterfalls amazing.

  Spent a lovely day - albeit a long day discovering the Milford sound . Our guide Brendon was very informative and a great driver with all the windy roads . Early start to day and a drive for over 4 hours although Brendon gave us toilet stops and walks to explore along the way . Arrived at cruise about 12.45 . We got weighed for potential flight back after the cruise but it was cancelled due to low cloud . Cruise lasted 2 and a half hours . It was wet and cold so bring warm clothing . Good footwear too is recommended . We got a packed lunch on board . Was a - tasty sandwich , a piece of fruit , cake and pie but you need to buy your own refreshments although water was provided . Smooth journey back via coach . A very enjoyable day out with stunning scenery ! New Zealand was seen at its best - moody and atmospheric.

  

  

  

• Rude guide, uncomfortable bus interior

  The trip takes 5 hrs to go and 4.5 hours to come back. You naturally have cameras, lenses and wearing items with you. But unfortunately the shelves were of useless design, no pockets or similar space on the back of the seat in front. You have to either carry everyting on your lap or place under your feet so that you can’t move all the way long. The driver was very rude, offensive and commanding. Threatining the guest several times that he would clise the doors and roll, without caring if anybody remained back or not.

  A fantastic boat trip . Stunning day. Great commentary from the naturist on board. Would recommend this trip to anyone.
