Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00This was such a special experience! The flight to/from was beautiful and smooth. Our pilot, Luke, did an amazing job of showing us multiple different views. The cruise was also fantastic. We saw a penguin! 10/10 would recommend.

5.00Absolutely amazing experience. Definitely the way to see Milford Sound. The views from the air were spectacular and of course, just as spectacular from the sea. Our pilot Luke was amazing. And, after an amazing experience, we were back in Queenstown at our hotel by 12:30 and still had well over half a day to enjoy. Highly recommend!!!!

5.00Absolutely amazing - THE BEST DAY! The service and quality of the experience True South offered was top notch. Their communications, customer service, information and overall quality was beyond expectations. Thanks to Belinda for being so transparent about possible weather impacts and huge shout out to Luke our Pilot who rocked everything he did. The transfer from plane to boat was seamless too with Luke as our concierge. Slick and smooth in every way. Alexis and I loved the experience and it has been the highlight of our NZ visit. Milford Sound is knock out too! Book these guys. David

5.00We woke up to a jaw-dropping sunrise, followed by an absolutely next-level breakfast at our hotel. With full bellies and happy hearts, we spent the morning unwinding before hopping on our flight to Milford Sound—and wow, what a flight! The aerial views were nothing short of spectacular. As a proud Hobbit and Lord of the Rings fan, spotting the Misty Mountains from above felt like flying straight into Middle-earth 🏔️✨. After landing, we were whisked straight to our boat to explore the breathtaking Milford Sound. And honestly… no words do it justice. The sheer beauty, the stillness, the magic—it was pure perfection. If you’ve never been, you absolutely must add this to your bucket list xx One of the most incredible places on Earth xx

5.00A spectacular day out with an incredibly well organised friendly professional staff and pilot. Jason flew us over snow capped mountains with views to behold and pointing out incredible sights. Followed by a beautiful cruise on the Milford Sound with equally professional and amazing crew and commentary. Company aircraft are new and well maintained. Whilst a pricey tour it is absolutely worth the cost. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend flying to the Milford sound and back . The flight being the highlight of the tour. We would definitely choose True South to tour with again. Thank you Jason we are still smiling 😊
