Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00Incredible experience. The staff was so lovely and helpful with rearranging bookings to make sure we were able to see this incredible sight. The plane ride was so magical and the views were perfect so clear and the pilot was so informative about what we were seeing.

5.00Originally booked a heli hike to Franz Joseph that was cancelled due to weather. The team got us booked into Milford fly-cruise-fly as an alternative on the same day and were so appreciative. All of the staff were kind and knowledgeable, very skilled pilot, and very organised and on time. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Queenstown.

5.00Extraordinary experience with our Pilot Andrew. He was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable about what we were looking at, and extremely professional! He made everyone feel safe and happy on board. Smiles on every face. One thing to note, Do not be surprised if they weigh you and assign you seats. This is a safety issue and all small plane tours do this to keep things balanced. We have done many different flight experiences around the world (from places in South Africa to Hawaii) and this was one of the best! The views are amazing on both sides of the plane. Everyone had a window seat so everyone could see the views. The commentary as we flew about what we were seeing was super helpful and fun! The cruise was lovely as well. November seems to be a great time to visit with the temps being warmer but not hot. The captain and the staff on board were helpful and courteous. Pointing out things we would have easily missed if they were not walking around. The captain even reminds you to put on some sunscreen and they have some available if you forgot yours. Just one of the many little things that they offer to make the experience perfect. The milford sound is, of course, stunning. Not only were we able to see the scenery, we were able to see seals and penguins! Something my daughter was very thrilled about! The booking, shuttle drivers, and office staff are often overlooked in these reviews, but we felt that they did a wonderful job that was worth mentioning. Kind and courteous and professional! Every aspect of the experience, from booking to delivery back to our hotel, was absolutely smooth and problem free. They are clearly running a professional level business which always makes me feel safer when trusting them to fly my family in a plane. We definitely recommend you book this tour! 5.00This was the best experience we’ve had in New Zealand by far! Andrew was our pilot and he was awesome. The day consists of a 40 min plane ride, followed by an hour and a half Milford sound boat cruise (has lunch and drinks on board but not included). The captain of our ship was awesome and so knowledgeable. We saw seals and penguins! Then you end the day with a return flight of 40 minutes. I could not recommend this tour enough, it was absolutely worth the cost. It’s the best view of the mountains and Milford sound you will ever get.

5.00Flight was awesome, Andrew’s flying skills and narrations were excellent. Flawless check-in, departure, transfer to cruise, and return. It may seem expensive, but it’s not, and worth every penny.

5.00The whole tour was professionally managed and conducted. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport. After the pre flight briefing , we boarded the aircraft for the 35 - 40 minutes flight. During the flight , we saw beautiful snow clad mountains and crystal clear lakes. The captain was an expert pilot who also gave almost a running commentary. At Milford Sound , we took a two hours cruise in a nice three deck boat. We could see many waterfalls and scenic mountains during the entire course of the journey in one of the most spectacular fjords. The cruise took us right up to the Tasman sea. Overall , it was an excellent experience full of breathtaking views of mountains , glaciers , lakes and rain forests. Thanks a lot to the True South Flights !

5.00This tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The highlight for me was definitely the flight into Milford Sound, seeing it from above was such a unique experience. Our pilots, Andrew and Jason, were amazing the whole way through. They eased my nerves with some great humour and made the experience feel both safe and fun. The cruise was equally amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around and take in the stunning views from every angle. It never felt crowded, and the scenery was just as spectacular from the water as it was from the air. Overall, this was a once in a lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
