We stop in the beautiful township of Te Anau for an extended break of 30-mins. We stop at a lakefront cafe so you can get a coffee/snack, use the bathroom and explore the stunning lakefront with mountain views.

5.00More "Wow" factor than you could ever imagine. The cruise out of Queenstown to Walters Peak was the start of this epic adventure followed by a fantastic lunch at Walters Peak (one of the oldest and largest sheep raising stations in New Zealand) including the shearing demonstration and how the dogs round up the sheep show. From here we met our guide Andreas who we would spend the next few days with being chauffered around in his opulent Mercedes Sprint. Let me say that whatever they're paying him...its not enough!. He was as good an ambassador for his company as they could hope for and we wee the beneficiaries of his knowledge and good humour along the way. Driving through the Von Valley to Tuapo was magical and would be missed by all those that choose to drive the highway there. Overnight at a great lakeside hotel followed by yet another exceptional morning drive to Milford Sound. The cruise (out and back) had more "WOW" factor than you could imagine. This is simply a must do tour BUT start form Queenstown with the boat to Walters Peak ....to get the full experience of this magnificent country. We have traveled quite extensively and this was a highlight to remember.

5.00I can’t thank Toby and his wonderful team enough for the Luxe tour we booked from Queenstown to Milford Sound. It was above and beyond our expectations, we were looked after from the moment were were picked up at our door to the booking process at Milford Sound and then an excellent drive back to Queenstown. Our driver Andreas was fantastic!! He was so knowledgeable and gave us so much insight into the flora and fauna on the trip and the history , incredibly interesting. I highly recommend anyone wanting to have a memorable experience whilst in Queenstown to book on one of Toby’s tours, you will not regret it. Toby your an absolute legend as is Andreas… thank you from us all. Until the next time ☺️

5.00We are a family of eleven, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Milford Sound. Our guide Tommy was on time, very personable, anticipated all our needs, and was extremely knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, history, and general information pertaining to the areas we travelled through. The boat tour was incredible. Stunning views of the fjord. It was along travel day from Queenstown but worth it. Thank you Tommy!

5.00This was a superior experience - our guide, Tommy, was knowledgeable, thoughtful and attuned to the needs of customers. It is a long day but we all thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. Tommy's commentary was outstanding and regular comfort stops made the journey a breeze. The scenic stops were breathtaking as was the cruise. I highly recommend this experience.

4.00Our Luxe tour to Milford sound was fantastic. The communication was great, pick up was efficient and our driver, although only 21, was very safety conscious and informative (though we think he did embelish a lot of what he told us!). The journey was pleasant despite the long day. When seeing the larger buses full of tourists, we were extremely grateful for our small group. With everyone being on time we were able to fit in some extra stops. The weather was bright and sunny and so we got to see all the peaks of the mountains with a light dusting of snow. Apparently this is not possible most days. It was disappointing not to see the waterfalls everywhere but it was still beautiful. The reserved seating on the boat was good to have, though there was plenty of space.

5.00Today my family and I went on an epic adventure with Luxe Tours to Milford Sound. Our driver was Tommy, he was so friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave funny and very interesting commentary making the trip a great experience. Tommy was a very safe and capable driver navigating quite a tricky road with ease. The van was comfortable and spacious and the stops we made along the way were great. Not too many - approx 10 I think. I can not recommend this tour company and driver highly enough!! If you are looking to go to Milford Sound -Luxe Tours is the way to go!! Lori

5.00We are a group of 4 and booked our Luxe tour from Australia. We arrived at our pick up point and Tommy was our guide. We hit the jackpot.. he was absolutely outstanding, his local knowledge of history, flora and fauna was amazing. We had plenty of time for photos, coffee and toilet breaks. The Milford Sound cruise was spectacular, scenery and wildlife, we saw seals and dolphins. Back on the bus it was time for a little nap, with Tommy letting us rest, but always checking if we needed to stop. The whole day was absolutely fantastic 10/10 would highly recommend

5.00We had an amazing experience travelling from Queenstown to Milford Sound with Adrian as our driver and guide. Although it’s a long journey, he made it incredibly comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. Adrian is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information along the way, which really enriched the whole trip. He was also very accommodating, always checking that everyone was comfortable and happy throughout the journey. The van was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which made a big difference on such a long drive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

5.00We booked with Luxe Tours because we wanted a more personal and comfortable experience, and it absolutely delivered. The transport from Queenstown picked us up right outside our accommodation and was incredibly comfortable for the long journey, with thoughtful touches like phone chargers, snacks, and water. Our guide, Tommy, was fantastic , knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. We made a couple of beautiful stops along the way, which really added to the day. The Milford Sound cruise was also excellent; the boat wasn’t crowded, and we were able to enjoy amazing views from both inside and outside, even getting close to the waterfalls. Overall, this trip was definitely worth booking with Luxe Tours. Highly recommend. Thanks again Tommy!
