5.00Our guide Tommy was a pleasure. He was very informative about the surroundings as we traveled. Just the right amount of stops on the way to Milford Sound. It was a very long day with driving to and from queenstown to the Milford Sound. The van was very comfortable. We reserved food on the boat but not necessary as you can buy sandwiches when get on boat if desired. However, the reserved pre purchased food was nicer.

5.00We enjoyed the day immensely and the professional services of Luxe and in particular our guide Tommy. He provided us with excellent commentary and information about the area and general insights into these natural landscapes. We very fortunate that the weather was kind to us and the friendly nature of this tour made this one of the highlights of our visit to Queenstown. We took the option of a helicopter trip back to Queenstown, which was effortlessly arranged by Luxe. The scenery was spectacular. We highly recommend using Luxe tours for your visit to Milford Sound.

5.00This was such an amazing day and a great way to see Milford Sound. Everything went extremely smoothly. I loved the stop in Te Anau and the chance to see some of the highlights in Fjordlands along the to and from trips. The boat ride was a highlight of our entire trip in New Zealand. However, our guide Tommy from Lux really made the entire day. He was so knowledgeable about the park itself but also about the entire area, Queenstown, the fish, birds, wildlife, history of the park. His personal stories and knowledge about everything made the entire day fly by. Thanks again for an amazing amazing day Tommy!

The drive itself was breathtaking, and our guide Tommy made it even better with fascinating commentary, local stories, and plenty of photo stops along the way. Once we arrived, the cruise through Milford Sound felt like stepping into another world—towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and wildlife. The boat was comfortable, the crew were welcoming, and there was never a moment where we didn’t feel completely looked after. What really made the tour stand out was the team’s passion for the region. You could tell they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in every detail of the experience. 5.00A truly great experience. Our driver Tommy was the best. Very knowledgeable, patient and really pleasant to chat with. The coach had really comfortable seats with plenty of room even though it was full. A well organised day.

5.00From booking to pickup from our hotel, the organisation and communication was 2nd to none ! We picked this tour because it offered a smaller, more comfortable bus, which didnt disappoint. The scenery, road trip, timely stops along the way, with nice little touches such as muffins for morning tea, water bottles, towels to clean the condensation from the windows and umbrellas when we got out of the bus at scenic stops was very much appreciated. The boat trip (2 hours) on Milford Sound was excellent. The nice lunch and commentary and information during the boat tour was informative and entertaining. What made the tour exemplary was tour guide and amazing bus driver Tommy !! Tommy was very personable, extremely knowledgeable, with lots of interesting facts and points of interest delivered in a very friendly and relaxed style.....Tommy helped take our excellent tour to the next level. 5.00Mother nature didn't play nicely all day - rain, cold and very strong winds, so not the stereotypical idyllic trip - but boy did those waterfalls perform, and still a very bewitching experience. Likewise our day was boosted by our guide , fantastic Adrian who was so helpful - umbrella armed, very knowledgeable about the area, photographer genius and genuinely so dedicated to making customers memories fabulous. As a passenger from QT, Mini bus was so comfortable for a long day on the road - and fellow customers who were part of a large group were so friendly and welcoming, making our trip memorable. Great company, and exceptional service from end to end and would not hesitate to recommend - all the extras are well worth a few extra $$

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Milford Sound. Our driver/guide was Tommy who was very knowledgable and polite. He made a long drive feel doable by breaking it up with stops for refreshments, toilets, and view point photos along the way. The boat tour itself was magnificent, it rained just before so the waterfalls were powerful and we had a moody backdrop for photos. Due to the cloud/mist there were no flights back to Queenstown but we were able to board back on the mini bus with no fuss, which was a faster drive with stops only when needed by passengers. We did a Saturday in November when the roads are quieter thank weekdays. Thank you! Shirley, Mark, and Nina Purvis
