At 7 am, we will be at your hotel to pick you up and go to Mindo. The driving time is approximately 2 hours
Nanegalito
After 1 hour and a half of driving, we will arrive at the central market of Nanegalito, where we will start the tour, looking at the many fruits and vegetables produced in the area, some of them unique to Ecuador, and we will get to know the local people as well which are pretty warm and welcoming

5.00We had the absolute pleasure of visiting the beautiful Mindo cloud forest with Alexis. He took us to a hummingbird sanctuary where we fed them and delighted in their perfect tinyness, rapid beating wings and gorgeous colours. We also stopped at a butterfly house where we learnt about their life cycle and saw some spectacular butterflies. The waterfalls walk was spectacular and very rewarding. The cloud forest is a very important ecosystem with its rich biodiversity. To finish our walk we caught the cable car across the valley where we could see through the trees to the valley below, spectacular! Alexis was an excellent guide with his knowledge, humour and kindness. We also had a late lunch at a local restaurant specialising in Ecuadorian food, very yummy. All in all a brilliant day with Alexis, highly recommended.
