  This was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend. Our guide Anthony was absolutely amazing!!! Although I was nervous about the hanging bridge lol he definitely put me at ease and I was super proud I did it. He took the time to explain and provide history everywhere we stopped. He also made sure we stopped and spent as much time as we wanted at the different locations. And identify the different birds along the way was the cherry on top!

  This tour experience was incredible. 10/10 highly recommend. Anthony was incredibly knowledgeable and stopped to show us all different types of wildlife and native birds along the way to each destination. The waterfall was stunning and the hanging bridges gave us a spectacular view of the countryside. Anthony and his company are the best tour operator/group we have booked with. Thank you so much for the experience and wonderful conversation.

  In spite of the rain we had a great time. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was panic and do kind. The lunch was exceptional. The water falls were breathtaking.

  Our adventure trip in Costa Rica was incredible thanks to "On the Road" and our guide, Verny. Verny was not just knowledgeable about Costa Rica’s history, biodiversity, and ecological landscape, but also deeply passionate about sharing his love for his country. We felt comfortable and safe throughout every part of our adventure. He called us his familia, and he truly treated us that way. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and our kids adored him. At the end of a full day, they all ran up for hugs and didn’t want to say goodbye. We had an action packed itinerary that included a canopy tour, zip lining, a rain fed waterslide, horseback riding, a mud bath and hot springs soak. Our lunch was an authentic Costa Rican meal. Verny’s passion for the animals, plants, and culture was clear, making every moment not just fun, but meaningful. He also took a ton of photos of us throughout the day and shared them with us at the end. If you’re visiting Costa Rica this is a great tour option.   All I can say is WOW!! We have travelled to Costa Rica the last couple of years ( 2 couples). This year we stayed in the Tamarindo area. The ladies in the group did all the research for our transportation and excursions. They found great reviews for ON THE ROAD COSTA RICA. And let me say, no one disappointed us. From the time we were welcomed at the airport it was nothing but 5 Stars. Punctuality, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Anthony, your guides and drivers are fantastic. Our group of 4 adults had Verny as our guide to do waterfalls, hanging bridges, hot springs and mud bath tour. With an authentic Costa Rican lunch included. (Yummy). Fantastic day! One we all will remember. Thanks Verny! We used the company for transportation as we decided not to rent a car this year. Kenner was our guy. Anything we needed he was more than happy to help us out. Including directing us to “less expensive” grocery stores when we went into town. So helpful. 👍. Lastly, on our departure day Anthony confirmed our departure time and ensured the driver would be on time. ( he was actually early , but not rushing us) 👍. Cannot say enough great things about On The Road Costa Rica. Made this trip one of the best. Thank you.

  Let me first start off with. Verny is absolutely amazing. From our pick up at Liberia airport, he was very knowledgeable of the country's history and spoke passionately. About Costa Rica. We were so excited to learn that Verny was going to be our tour guide for the day it was a pleasure sharing a meal with him and listen to him talk about his family. He is so knowledgeable and knows so much about the history of costa rica. I cannot pick one favorite part of our day. Because the day was absolutely spectacular, adventurous and full of lots of laughs. Verny went above and beyond our expectations of the day. We are truly blessed to have met him and have him spend the day with us. Exploring, he made our experience one we will never forget! we will never forget Verny! • Amazing one of a kind Adventure!!!!

  We had an amazing time! The tour was well planned by Anthony! The time was well spent on each tour and we were not rushed to move from one tour to the other. Anthony is very knowledgeable, and also kind! We were awed at how much History and Geography he knows and (shared) of the region (for those who care to ask questions about the attractions) we enjoyed the waterfalls, and the horse ride before hitting the hanging bridges was relaxing . The views were spectacular and nature was serene. We had a mud bath which made us super gorgeous for one of a kind photos to remember :) The mud gives a glow to your skin. We loved the hot baths afterwards. The whole experience was rejuvenating! We will visit again and will tour once again with Anthony and his “On the Road to Costa Rica” team! I 100% recommend him to be your tour guide! He will show you, a lot more than what others might not! Anthony is friendly and very cool. He was helpful to my elderly Aunt who struggled a little bit with some areas of climb during the Rain Forest hike.

  

  

  

  

  

• Best day of my life twice!

  We took 2 trips with them. The 1st was a cultural tour and Palo Verde boat tour with Josias. It was amazing! He came with a clean van, with booklets about animals, binoculars, cold water and beer. He was very patient with all the questions we had. He is Very knowledgeable and kind! The second tour was with Verny to Hanging Bridges, Hot springs and Jungle walk. He also came in a clean vehicle with water beer, camera, binoculars and umbrellas for us! We had and unforgettable experience! He was so kind to my kids! I felt like we are hiking with family and not with a guy we just met. He took so many amazing pictures of us, he made stops whenever we needed, showed us amazing animals that we would not have seen without him. And one more thing that is very important to me-they were both on time to pick us up! We will be back in a few months and this company is the only company I want to deal with!!   It was easy to reach out to the company and they promptly answered any questions I had, and once I was ready to book they emailed me a link. Verny was our guide and he absolutely made our experience unforgettable! I absolutely love that they keep their groups small and I was able to book a private tour with just my boyfriend and I. Verny is so passionate about what he does and he really cares about tourists getting everything they can get from the experience. We took our time looking at everything from clear winged butterflies to monkeys swinging in the canopies of the rainforest. Verny was incredibly knowledgeable about everything and that made the experience so much more immersive and interesting. The horseback riding was so fun and the road you ride on was absolutely gorgeous. The suspended bridges were both a rush of adrenaline and awe of the incredible views that surround you while you’re crossing them. The lunch they provide for you is delicious and super filling! Being able to see the volcanic activity and hot springs was really interesting; it almost feels like a different planet. This company was easy to communicate with, they were punctual and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Prices were awesome considering everything that was included. Verny picked us up and dropped us off right at our AirBnb. I absolutely recommend On the Road Costa Rica! They are a family owned business and they really care about people getting a true sense of what Costa Rica is all about.
