Raft the iconic Colorado River through Castle Valley, also known as the Fisher Towers section just outside Moab. This is the stretch every Moab rafting trip is built around, even if you see it called by different names. No matter the name, you are on the same legendary section of the Colorado River.
Splash, laugh, and cool off as you move through a mix of calm sections and fun rapids. The river typically features Class I and II rapids, with occasional Class III during higher water earlier in the season, making it a great fit for all experience levels.

While the names may vary, this honest review of the most iconic stretch of river is known for its towering red rock formations and wide open views. Meet us at 97 S. Main Street in downtown Moab, and you will head to the river. Once on the water, enjoy a mix of calm floating and splashy rapids as you take in the scenery. This section typically features Class I and II rapids, with occasional Class III rapids during higher water earlier in the season. With over 40 years of experience, our team focuses on delivering a smooth, well-run Colorado River experience. Your guide will handle the navigation while sharing insight into the geology, history, and landscape that make this area so unique. This trip is about 4.5 hours door-to-door.

5.00Chance and KJ were fantastic! KJ was a great river guide and extremely accommodating. He was super knowledgeable about Moab’s ecosystems and rock formations, and they both had such great insights into the area. The river rafting was fun and easy, and the water felt great when we took a quick dip! Highly recommend booking this experience.

5.00Great day on the Colorado River with my family. We had Abby as our tour guide. It was so fun and yet peaceful. Beautiful landscape as you follow the river. Bonus we saw big horn sheep & blue herons on the trip. Highly recommend

5.00We had such a wonderful day!! Guides were very knowledgeable, equipment in great shape and safety oriented business. Beautiful scenery, we learned alot about the Colorado River, its habitats, picked mulberries and had a lovely swim!! I would definitely recommend this company to others!

5.00Extremely entertaining. Had an amazing time on this excursion. Staff were so informative. On the drive to river the guide/manager gave us an incredible & entertaining overview/history of the area. Then the river guide continued to give us a wonderful commentary about the river, rock formations, history, etc. The river ride was great too. Firm start to finish the kept us entertained & ensured we enjoyed every minute of it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

5.00My fiancé and I went into this not knowing what to expect. Our guides were so personable with all of us on the raft. They also gave us great insight on the land, the history of the town, and absolutely tons of info about the river.

5.00My husband and I booked an awesome rafting trip with Rivertrippers. Chantze Palmer (river manager) and his adventures guides, Abby and JC, were very skilled and knowledgeable. We felt safe from beginning to end. We’re both excited to visit Moab in the future and go on one of his Jeep tours. Highly recommend.

5.00Amazing! 1000x better than I imagined. I was a little nervous and apprehensive but our amazing guide KJ made the experience worth while. He is so knowledgeable about all things along the Colorado river and Utah in general. We got way more out of this adventure than expected. Worth every penny. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Just AWESOME!!

5.00Relaxed boat trip on the Colorado River, with a very knowledgable guide! He clearly has a lot of experience and he made us feel very safe on the rapids. It was a very relaxing activity to offset the many hikes in the nearby national parks!
