This full-day trip starts from Cebu. You will arrive Moalboal, a premier snorkeling spot after a few hours drive. Enjoy swimming around beautiful coral reefs, adorable sea turtles, and large schools of powerful sardines in Moalboal. Experience the mysterious scene of adorable sea turtles swimming gracefully and small sardines migrating as one huge life form in a school.
After snorkeling, visit the Mantayupan Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in Cebu, boasts a 98-meter drop and is surrounded by cliffs and trees, making it relatively cool even during the daytime, and is famous as a summer resort. Heal in this hidden and unexplored part of Cebu Island that is not well known by tourists and loved by local people.

Sea turtles and sardines are wild animals and may not be seen during the tour.
For insurance purposes, we will require the names and dates of birth of all participants in order to verify the age. Failure to provide this information will result in your ineligibility for insurance.
Insurance cannot be provided for those who are 76 years and older; however, you may participate if you purchase own insurance.
The schedule for the day may be subject to change due to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, changes will be at the discretion of the guide on the day of the tour.

Mantayupan Falls
Mantayupan Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in Cebu with a drop of 98 meters, is surrounded by cliffs and trees, making it relatively cool even during the daytime, and is famous as a summer retreat.

In Moalboal, you can enter the ocean from the beach as soon as you arrive and enjoy snorkeling!

5.00Our driver and guide were punctual, they picked us up at 4:30am. From Cebu city, its around a 2 hour drive to the falls. Then another hour drive to Moalboal. The snorkelling experience was incredible! Saw thousands of sardines and several turtles. Overall, I felt well taken care of.

5.00One of the reasons to visit Moalboal was to experience the famous sardines fish school. We loved it but maybe our expectations were too high. We definitely liked more the snorkeling areas in Coron than in Moalboal. Anyway, the visit to Moalboal was a great idea, there is a great vibe in the town and we recommend to stay at least for two or three days.

5.00We got Picked up on the dot. Farrah, our guide, was super nice!! Even bought us snacks since we didn’t have time to eat for an early start. The tour was well organized and the guides that helped us with the gears were so patient with us. Great job!!

5.00The Sardine Tornado drops off right in front of the beach! When you are staring, the sea turtles cross under your eyes. The guide dived through the sardine tornado and was thrilled to take a photo with me surrounded by sardines and the cute sea turtle.

5.00We were picked up at the hotel on time, and the 3-hour drive with Ninyo was very pleasant – plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere. Ninyo (driver) and Mae (tour guide) were extremely friendly and gave us lots of interesting insights about the Philippines. Snorkeling with sardines and turtles was an impressive experience that we can absolutely recommend. Ninyo and Mae took care of everything so we could just relax and enjoy the trip. Especially beautiful: They took underwater pictures of us at no extra cost. Thank you, Ninyo and Mae, next time we bring Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate ;) – it was an unforgettable day!

5.00The trip is split into two parts. The first part was the sardine run and the turtle viewing. The waters are crystal clear and there are SO MANY sardines present. I thought we would have to go far from the shore but it’s more like a drop off close to the shore which is very nice. We also saw some barracuda, jelly fish, lots of other colourful fish and a turtle!! He was so cute. There is a good amount of time to swim and the guide was fantastic. You can hire flippers also for 150p so you can swim further down which was helpful. The second part was the falls. They are BEAUTIFUL! You can swim under them and they provide life jackets for such. The photos we took here are really nice. Definitely recommend bringing your own snacks and lunch for the day however the tour guide did stop at the 7/11 for us which was awesome! They also have a GoPro that you can borrow and they will upload all the photos and videos for you to your phone before you leave. Definitely recommend. :)
