  Louise our guide was excellent. She told us so much information we would have never figured out on our own. Her references to places and facts from buildings history statues etc was very enriching. Her sheet at the end of the tour was very helpful. Can’t say enough good things about her tour. It was very informative and interesting. Well worth it and to take at the beginning of your trip is a good idea. Thankyou.

  Upon arrival, we asked the concierge in our hotel how to get to the stop for hop on hop off, and all they said is go to water front, so we did, but no signs where they stop to pickup passengers, they said every 15 minutes busses should be there but we hardly saw busses go around, so ended up walking to old town, my concern was that my mom who is 85 yrs old had to walk quite a bit, if it just me and my hubby, we would been okay to walk that much. When we finally saw the bus, it was on the last trip already. The good thing is that we can still use the tix for next day and no need to re purchase tix, unlike in Quebec City where I have to re purchase tix for four people. Also, one bus driver did not wait for all of us to sit before taking off and my mom almost fell. He was very apologetic after that. One good thing in this experience is that, there was a good length of a tour, and there was tour guide talking explaining every significant spot of Montreal. We learned a lot about the city and its history.

• Pushy tour guide begging for tips!

  One of the tour guides blatantly pandered for tips, repeatedly asking customers to tip him and Omar, the driver. It was most distasteful, especially with his waiting at the exit as everyone got off the bus. Plus, we waited far more than a half hour for the bus to show up. Please tell your tour guides to knock off the begging for tips. Otherwise the tour would be enjoyable.

  The drivers and tour guides are excellent! The flexibility of getting off the bus at particular stops then getting back on another bus or the same bus is a wonderful concept.

  Over priced but interesting tour very short day 10-4 so not great if your exploring and hopping on and off
