3.00David was our guide. He is very knowledgeable in the history and facts about the monastery and surroundings. We though the trip has too much down time. Did not meet our expectations. Not enough staff in cafeterias. 100 in line and 1 person working.

5.00Comfortable bus ride. Nice guide. Beautiful building and views. Cable car was fun. The hike was good but not flat. Plan to climb a hill.

5.00Montserrat Monastery was one of the best tours we did in our trip to Spain. The monastery and the views around it were breathtaking. This was a small group and our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and did an exceptional job. We highly recommend this tour.
Montserrat tour with funicular but no cable car

4.00Our tour guide James did a great job getting us to Montserrat, showing us the monastery and basilica, getting us onto the funicular and hiking down from the top. He entertained us with facts and stories. My only disappointment was that the tour was also supposed to include the cable car ride down. James who works for a subcontractor said that he was not told that the cable car was included.
