Start your day with a morning sightseeing sail around Newport on a classic sailboat. Sailing aboard Schooner Madeleine is a great experience for friends and family to see all the iconic waterfront sights of Newport and Narragansett Bay.

Sail by the Newport Bridge, which is the largest suspension bridge in New England, see historic lighthouses, Fort Adams, Newport's mansions, Hammersmith Farm and more from the water. Watch the crew raise sail and relax on deck with a mimosa.

Once the sails are up, guests will enjoy sailing around the bay powered by the wind. This is a classic Newport experience that's great for friends and family, locals and visitors that want to see all that Newport has to offer from the water!

The minimum age to consume alcohol is 21 years old

Please note parking is difficult in Newport, especially on weekends. Allow at least 60 minutes to park, especially on weekends and holidays as no refunds are given for missing the boat. Guests should plan to arrive at our ticket booth 20 minutes prior to your departure time to check-in. The boat will leave promptly at the scheduled departure time. Please plan accordingly and allow for ample time for parking

It was excellent and just a beautiful experience. Sahan, our captain was awesome, very knowledgeable & a skilled capt. Bob was a great 1st mate and knows the history of the bay and the families who are longtime characters. The Sloop, Eleanor is a beautiful, intimate and fun yacht to sail. I would definitely recommend this yacht and will share my opinion with anyone coming to Newport.

Really fun and informative cruise. Miles and the crew were incredibly nice and professional. The weather was great and the took us in a great ride around the Narragansett bay. My wife and I had a generous Prosecco pour and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The crew was funny and professional. Told us about Newport history and gave us great lunch recommendations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a morning boat ride.

It was a beautiful day out sailing! The crew was very friendly and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was a great first view of Newport, Rhode Island.

We were lucky enough to have been out on a sunny brisk and breezy morning! The crew was attentive and knowledgeable. We had a few drinks while enjoying the sights, with a variety of choices for beverages! 😜

We are so pleased to have started our day on the Madeleine! The crew was amazing, there was just enough information given about the area and overall it was gorgeous, informative, and easy. We arrived early for our 10:30 cruise and easily found parking right by the dock- when we returned it was much busier, so we felt fortunate to have had the place somewhat “to ourselves” before our sail. Would 100% do it again! I think the morning sail was the right choice as the evening weather could be hit or miss.
Great experience highly recommend!

Great crew! Super safe and exhilarating sail! I’m a local and yet I learned SO much about the homes on the shore . Tip: ask the crew for your 2nd drink before you get close to the landing. Lost out on our 2nd purchased drink ticket. Bon voyage!

We had a great experience on Schooner Madeleine Morning Mimosa Sightseeing! Our first time doing this sail and it was so fun and informative. The crew was very experienced in the history of all the sights and made everyone feel comfortable. Even though the weather was cloudy and overcast, it was a smooth sailing experience throughout the trip. We would definitely do it again!
