Kotoku-in (Great Buddha of Kamakura)
Kotoku-in is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of Japan's most famous statues. This massive bronze Buddha stands at 13.35 meters tall and has survived natural disasters since the 13th century. This statue is unique because you can actually go inside it to see its internal structure. It symbolizes serenity and provides a great place to reflect while walking around the grounds. Please note that you can only see this option if you choose the correct option

3.00You have to be very lucky in the short time you are given at the viewpoint, to be able to see Mount Fuji, because you make 3 stops, the first to cross with a boat 12 minutes, there you almost do not see the mountain because it is covered by clouds, the next stop is 20 minutes, there if you are lucky it is seen, but lasts very little, then you stop at a market, they give you less than an hour, where you supposedly have to eat, bone to travel you have no time. Of the 12 hours the tour takes, 9 hours you are on top of the bus. Finally stop at a filling station 1 hour from entering Tokyo to go to the bathroom... Conclusion the tour very bad, Jorge the guide is very good vibes and very good info... but the badly organized tour

5.00We really appreciated our tour experience with Utsu-san (driver), Melody, and Jorge (tour guide). Jorge was very prompt and professional, gave us clear instructions on meeting times, and shared commentary in both Spanish and English. Luckily, the weather cooperated and we saw Mt. Fuji during the stop at Lake Kawaguchi, not to mention the gorgeous red, yellow, and orange colours of autumn. This tour became the highlight to our honeymoon in Japan!

5.00George, Melody, and our driver Usuni made the day smooth. George kept us well informed ahead of each stop and on time (and laughing). The bus was incredibly clean and we had super safe driving on some narrow roads. We were lucky to see gorgeous Mount Fuji. Pro tip - If you like cheesecake, definitely make the stop after the boat ride! If you have one day to pack a trip out of Tokyo, this should be high on the list.

5.00Super good experience. Jorge, the guide, a crack. He's done his job very well, always in between jokes, making the journeys very enjoyable. We have been able to ask him several questions about the country he has answered and more things he has told us. It is definitely recommended.

4.00We had just spent some time in Hakone so I ended up regretting booking this r Tour as I had seen most of the sights. The tour leaders Jorge plus melody and the driver were very personable, it just wasn’t what I was expecting. If however you are not planning on spending time in Odowara/ hakone and want a quick closer view of mt Fuji than I would recommend

The tour was wonderful only for the landscapes already worth. But with the guides we had a variety of information and culture. Everything very well prepared and everything very organized. Congratulations to Jorge and Melody. We love We're still in Tokyo. Let's see if we get another tour. We already did for Nikko. With Jorge too.
