Kotoku-in (Great Buddha of Kamakura)

Kotoku-in is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of Japan's most famous statues. This massive bronze Buddha stands at 13.35 meters tall and has survived natural disasters since the 13th century. This statue is unique because you can actually go inside it to see its internal structure. It symbolizes serenity and provides a great place to reflect while walking around the grounds. Please note that you can only see this option if you choose the correct option

We were guided by Jorge and nakajima. They were great and really made this experience worth it. We were a medium sized group altogether and they did a great job at accommodating everyone. Mount Fuji was clear and every stop was worth the drive 10/10. Thankyou amigo tours:)

It was good, if a bit rushed since there is a law saying a bus driver can only drive for 11 hours. I wished we could've stayed by the lakeside some more. Going to the village and seeing the street vendors was great, so poeopel that didnt buy the lunch option will still have a great time. Unfortunately the Buddha statue was being cleaned so we had to go to another shrine, which was worthy while but almost got lost since we were dropped off in front but had to meet at the parking lot. That could have been better planned.

Great day trip from Tokyo to Mount Fuji! Everything was well organized, transportation was comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning on a clear day. The guide was friendly and informative, and the schedule was well paced without feeling rushed. Perfect way to see Mount Fuji in one day—highly recommended.

Jorge was a fantastic tour guide, who was very interactive and engaged with the guests. The overall tour was clearly well thought out and covered a wide range of fun activities supplemented by tips and recommendations from Jorge. Our driver Nakajima-san was also very friendly and obviously skilled, taking us quickly and safely through the Japanese countryside.

We were very lucky to see the Mont Fuji, clear the whole day. Our guide Jorge was very knowledgeable and made the trip very lively. He was very approachable and fun to be around. Our driver Waku brought us to all the different stops smoothly, on time. They both made this very efficient, and gave us enough time to enjoy the spots to take pictures and walk around. Superb service ! I couldn’t hope for a better day. 5*

We made a trip to Mount Fuji and some villages around it. The guide (Jorge) was 10/10 polite, full of humor and very detailed! He told us a lot about Japanese culture and everything else about this trip! It was a fantastic day.

It was a wonderful experience, with lots of laughter, Curio/culture data and lots of good food. Our driver Yaguchi took us to our destinations on time and with caution. Second, our guide Jorge kept us entertained during our journey, asked us questions and told us the stories of each place we went. Therefore, this was a tour that I will never forget.
We had a sunny and clear day which helped us to enjoy the experience to the fullest

My partner and I had an amazing day trip visiting the lakes around Fuji. Yachuchi, our driver got us everywhere on time and safely and Jorge, our tour guide was entertaining the entire trip, definitely would recommend.
