Kotoku-in - Great Buddha of Kamakura
Kotoku-in is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of Japan's most famous statues. This massive bronze Buddha stands at 13.35 meters tall and has survived natural disasters since the 13th century. This statue is unique because you can actually go inside it to see its internal structure. It symbolizes serenity and provides a great place to reflect while walking around the grounds. Please note that you can only see this option if you choose the correct option

5.00Had a great time, we were really lucky with the weather. I was really impressed that the tour guide, Beru, was multi-lingual and was able to switch between English and Spanish seamlessly. Mack was an expert driver and I was also impressed at his ability to navigate very narrow roads. I was happy with all of the stops, I wish we would have had a little more time at some spots but I realize that the whole trip must be on a time limit because of how long it is in general. Overall, very happy.

5.00A very smooth experience from Beginning to end! Our tour guide Beru was excellent and easily translated from English to Spanish for all the tourists! Super personable and kind! Mac the driver was also nice! Not sure how he managed to get us up the mountain on those tight roads. Both were super skilled!

5.00Beru was a terrific guide and Mack was a great driver! This was a great way to get out of the city for a day and be able to see Mt. Fuji. The lunch was just okay, but I still give the experience five stars for the convenience alone and would definitely recommend.

5.00Really fun tour, Jorge was a fantastic host and Kitagawa was a brilliant driver (especially on those mountainous roads). Jorge was really informative and energetic and provided great insights throughout the trip. I’d really recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see and experience Mt Fuji!

5.00Jorge and kitagawa provided a wonderful experience. Jorge is charming and funny and informative and brought an air of energy and enthusiasm to our very early start and the lethargy that persisted. Never stopped smiling and having fun and made it a trip to remember.
