  We had a great time exploring around Mount Fuji with Lucas as our guide! Lucas was personable and professional. He was happy to adjust the itinerary to fit our wants throughout the experience. We would easily recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see great sights with a well-informed guide!

  Lucas was on time, professional, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He took us to a couple lovely shrines, a garden and a very nice lunch. He is also a very good driver! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for us and we did not see Mount Fuji, but the tour was wonderful, even without that part of the experience. I highly recommend this tour!

  We had an outstanding experience on our Mt. Fuji tour, thanks to our guide, Lucas. He was organized and punctual, which made the entire day smooth and stress-free. His friendly yet professional demeanor immediately put us at ease, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. What truly set him apart was his deep, firsthand knowledge of Japanese customs and culture. He didn’t just guide us through the sights—he enriched the journey with meaningful insights and stories that gave us a much deeper appreciation of everything we were seeing. We especially enjoyed the lunch spot he selected, where we had the unique experience of removing our shoes and wearing slippers—an authentic and memorable glimpse into Japanese traditions. The food was delicious and added even more to the experience. We booked four tours through Viator during our trip, and without a doubt, Lucas was our favorite guide. We learned the most from him, and that says a lot—especially since impressing my 23-year-old son isn’t always easy! He had a fantastic time as well. I truly can’t say enough good things about Lucas. This experience was one of the highlights of our visit to Tokyo, and we would absolutely book with him again on our next trip.

  This was an excellent tour. Lucas spoke excellent English. Lucas was very knowledgeable and continued to monitor the live cameras at Mt Fuji to adjust our trip so that we could get the best view possible. We went to a number of lakes that had impressive views. I really liked the Cherry Blossom soft serve ice cream at one of the lakes. I personally enjoyed the discussions we had about a very diverse number of subjects as we travelled around.

  Lucas is an amazing tour guide for Mount Fuji. He picked us up punctually and made the ride easy and pleasant from Tokyo to Mount Fuji. He took the time to develop an itinerary based on both our requests plus his own experience with Mount Fuji. He knew the best times to go to different areas and we were able to take some amazing photos and also see some lesser visited spots which were amazing to view. He was also able to cater to some on the fly changes we asked for during the tour and his friendliness and easy going nature worked perfect for an amazing day trip. I recommend him to anyone looking for a day trip to Mount Fuji!

  I wanted to be careful with any tour because I was accompanying my parents who are in the 80s. And I knew right away that we would be in good hands when Lucas started communicating shorty after making the booking. Based on the details about my parents, he immediately customized the itinerary and timing knowing that they’ll be slower and less able to walk long distances. He arrived on-time and was extremely pleasant from the start until the very end. He was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited, all of which had unique and unforgettable views of Mt Fuji. My mom is the one who has more mobility challenges and he stayed behind and kept her company so that my dad and I could explore further. My mom really enjoyed learning about Lucas’ life and he shared so much about the Japanese culture that we might have been too shy to ask. I highly recommend Lucas and his customizable tour for anyone wanting to get the best sights of Mt Fuji and is looking for someone who has a kind and naturally warm personality.   Lucas could not have been more helpful. He was extremely prompt at replying to our messages and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. He accommodated all our needs. We had a brilliant day. Would highly recommend Lucas and this tour.
