  The perfect Mt. Fuji experience! This tour could not have been better. Our guide Lucas was so kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, making a unique itinerary based off our interests. We set our start time for 6:30 a.m., and, even though it might seem early, it was perfect. We missed morning rush hour traffic and took in some beautiful views before the clouds and crowds formed. We got to see so many different locations and views around Mt. Fuji, ranging from iconic selfie spots, to beautiful flower fields, to an outdoor traditional village museum, to even a sake brewery. Suffice it to say, this tour had it all and is a must do for anyone visiting.

  We had an outstanding experience with Yokohama Private Tours (YPT) during our trip to Asia, and equally important, even before we arrived in Japan. We have explored many countries, and planning an in-depth and extensive international trip can sometimes be challenging. From our very first inquiry with YPT, Lucas was responsive and answered our questions promptly, professionally, and his English was excellent. He helped us build a customized itinerary and his attention to detail was very impressive. Equally important, was his knowledge of Japan and his recommendations of what to see so as to make the most of our time in such a beautiful country. A pleasant surprise for us, was his skill at taking professional photos and videos of us at scenic sites. He captured many memorable moments we will treasure for a lifetime! Our first tour was a private excursion from Yokohama to the Mount Fuji area. We were picked up directly at our hotel and taken to several beautiful locations throughout the day. One of the best aspects of the tour was the freedom to have a completely flexible schedule. Unlike structured bus tours, we were never rushed or tied to someone else’s timeline. The itinerary could be adjusted as we went, allowing us to spend more time at places we especially enjoyed. We also used Yokohama Private Tours for a full-day private tour of the Tokyo area. Once again, Lucas did not disappoint us and did an excellent job working with us to create a unique itinerary focused on the sites we specifically wanted to see. If we wanted to stay longer somewhere, it was never a problem. In addition to the tours, we used their service for three private transfers: - A transfer to Ashikaga Flower Park, which was absolutely amazing - A transfer from the Yokohama cruise port to our Tokyo hotel - A transfer from Tokyo to the airport We were traveling with several large pieces of luggage, and standard Japanese taxis and Ubers simply could not accommodate us comfortably. Having a spacious vehicle waiting for us provided tremendous peace of mind and convenience. Every driver was professional, and all of the vehicles were extremely comfortable. Lucas also provided the names and contact information for each driver the day before our scheduled pickups, which added another level of reassurance and professionalism. Bottom line: we would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Japan. We wish there were more private touring companies like YPT and especially a “Lucas” in every country that we plan to visit in the future! • Best way to experience Mt Fuji!

  We had a fantastic day visiting one of the most iconic spots in Japan. Lucas was a super guide and made sure we saw Mt Fuji from every angle as well as visit other spots such as the impressive temple, local sake brewery and a great lunch venue. We had a blast.   Thank you Lucas for an amazing day! You helped make the most out of seeing the sights when we couldn't see Mt Fuji due to heavy cloud cover (except for that joyous 3 seconds when there was a gap in the clouds!). We appreciated you contacted us soon after we made our booking and customised an itinerary that suited our interests. It was great you picked us up early from our hotel in Yokohama so we could get ahead of the typical tourist crowd and visit popular attractions without mixing with the masses. Whilst the weather prevented postcard pictures of Mt Fuji we were still able to have an enjoyable, fun-filled day filled with culture, history, scenic landscapes and memorable moments. Thank you for your consideration, thoughtful helpfulness, local knowledge and guidance. With your excellent service and professionalism (not to mention the delicious snacks), touring with you today was a highlight of our Japan travels.

  Bottom line up front : BOOK THIS TOUR! I can’t say enough good things about Lucas, and the tour we did with him at Lake Kawaguchi. First thing, he messaged early in the morning to adjust the schedule. Weather was iffy at best and he recommended a change to maximize our chances of actually seeing Fuji. Turns out this was exactly what we needed to do! Lucas is engaging, articulate, intelligent and incredibly easy to converse with. He has great depth of knowledge about each location you visit, and has several options of what to do to adapt to your interests and energy levels. He also was able to recommend a local food experience for lunch that was authentic and of the beaten path which we loved. Because of his thoughtfulness and appropriately managing the schedule, we were able to stay later in the day and experience the amazing Mt. Fuji just as the clouds and rain finally dispersed at sunset.   Lucas provided a fun opportunity for us to see mt Fuji during a short stop in Japan. The tour was well organized and efficient. Lucas was very knowledgeable about the sites, and we enjoyed the conversation we had with him. I would definitely recommend this private tour.

  My family and I had an incredible experience on our tour to Mt. Fuji. Lucas our tour guide was absolutely amazing. he was very accommodating to my family and flexible with the itinerary, which made the day feel personalized and stress-free. He spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about Japan and the Mt. Fuji area, sharing insights that made the experience even more meaningful.
