Only good for a young wine novice

3.00There were a couple nice views and lunch was the highlight. The wines were young and watery. Great for a novice to discover things from whites to red Shiraz to champagne. Our driver did most of the tastings as the people at the wine places were too lazy to do it themselves. The last stop was liquors and they were quite sweet if that’s your thing.

5.00A 8.30am pick up did not deter us from taking this trip. The minibus was spot on time picking us up from the designated hotel. The minibus itself was adequate, but the air conditioning was not the best. The journey took just under 1.5 hours and we visited 3 vineyards sampling 4 or 5 wines at each. The information on the wines we sampled at each vineyard was excellent. We also had a tasty lunch at the third vineyard with a choice of 4 options. The fourth visit of the tour was to a distillery, which was interesting and informative thanks to a very amusing host. Our group only consisted of seven people which was perfect. We arrived back into Brisbane at 4.30pm. A very enjoyable trip.

5.00Ari was very cheerful, friendly and interesting. We went out on a rainy day and Ari made sure that the whole experience was over and above what we expected. He also had a vast knowledge of the area and the wine and spirit. Thank you for a great day!
