By visiting the performance you will be taken back to Mozart’s time. Enjoy an evening likely to have taken place in 1790 - in the Baroque Hall lit by candles, having a dinner based on historical recipes, listening to a concert with musicians in authentic costumes and the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The venue, St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is the oldest restaurant in middle Europe and even Mozart and his family used to dine there.

Evening starts at 7:30pm, admission until 7:15pm, doors open at 6:30pm, box office is available from 6:00 pm.
Late seating ist possible only during intermissions. Early appearance recommended.
Seats are at shared tables and will be assigned on the spot

You are entertained by live opera performances featuring arias and duets from "The Magic Flute", "Figaro' wedding" and "Don Giovanni" as well as "A Little Night Music". During concert breaks you enjoy dinner in one of Europe’s oldest restaurants - St. Peter Stiftskulinarium - first mentioned in a document in 803. This picturesque setting of the candlelit Baroque Hall is located in the heart of Salzburg's old town. The three-course meal is inspired by historical recipes from the 1700s, so you try dishes that you wouldn’t usually make at home. Musicians of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg, consisting of an exquisite chamber ensemble and two opera-singers, all dressed in authentic Rokoko costumes, inspire with a lively and first-class show.

5.00This was a lovely evening!! The dinner was excellent and the music was as well! The event was held in an absolutely stunning space adding to the feel. We would definitely do this again if we are in the area.

5.00The room was a very impressive sight. From the crystal chandeliers, to the white table linens and white coveted chairs. Plus the candles around the room, it made for an immersive experience back in time. In addition the concert was not a sellout and the staff moved us up closer to the stage, The evening was organized very well. The event opened with the musicians and solists cover a mozart work which ended with the first course of soup being served. The musicians would the cover another work of Mozart followed by a main course of chicken being served. The musicians then came back for their third and final set followed by desert. The food was all enjoyable and was served promptly and professionally. The wait staff was always availble to provide something from the bar if needed. The musicians and soloist were all talented and presented the program wuth a high level of expertises. . The musicians played on their own and would the provide back up for fhe soloists. The soprano and baritone shined on their arias and solos and wete just as strong when engaging with each other during their dual singings. Not only were they singing, they were creating characters as they were singing adding to the experience of the evening.

5.00The concert and dinner were a wonderful experience! The talent of the opera singers coupled with their acting skills and sense of humor made the event a fun cultural experience! They were even able to accommodate the vegan family member traveling with us! A 10 out of 10!

5.00If you are visiting Salzburg, this is an absolute MUST! A trip to Salzburg would genuinely feel incomplete without experiencing the Mozart Dinner Concert. I attended during the Christmas season, and the room was immaculately decorated, elegant, and atmospheric, truly transporting you back in time. From the moment you enter, you feel as though you’ve stepped straight into the 1700s, and the experience never breaks that spell. The performers were extraordinary. The singers and string quartet were fit to perform for an emperor—powerful, refined, and deeply moving. This is a concert first and foremost, and it is executed at the highest level. A note to future guests: you are paying for a show, not the food, and that is exactly how it should be. The food is a pleasant complement to the main attraction, which is the music and the atmosphere. One should not expect Michelin-star cuisine here, nor is that the point. You are here for an exceptional concert; the dinner simply supports the experience. Many negative food reviews miss this entirely. What truly sets this venue apart, however, is the staff. The entire team was gracious, attentive, and genuinely kind. Bata Jovic deserves special mention. He was one of the most caring and considerate hosts I have ever encountered at any venue in Europe. The warmth and professionalism of the staff elevated the evening from wonderful to unforgettable. I was celebrating my 50th birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make it memorable, including a very thoughtful surprise that I will always remember. In fact, I was so excited (and admittedly a little unsure about directions) that I came by the day before just to make sure I knew where the venue was. The staff noticed my curiosity, welcomed me in, personally walked me to the exact table where I would be seated the following night, and even gave me a tour of the entire facility—purely out of kindness and genuine interest in making sure we were happy. Finally, a word about leadership: Petra Toscany clearly cares deeply about her guests’ satisfaction and well-being and is quick to ensure that any issue is handled with professionalism and care. Well done to Ms. Toscany, Mr. Jovic, and the entire team. Thank you for giving me such beautiful memories of my 50th birthday. I would return without hesitation and recommend this experience to anyone visiting Salzburg.

3.00As a solo traveler, I wouldn't recommend this, because even as an English speaker in a room of 80ish people only two others were also English speakers and even they didn't appear to be having that good of a time either. No real accommodation was made to sit people together from a common tongue other than the native German. So not only did I sit by myself as a solo traveler, I wasn't able to talk to anyone at my seated table with two other French speakers. Now either my position as one of the back tables, or solo, or both - I was chronically served last in all courses which already given nothing to do, now had nothing to do but watch others eat and usually finish even before I was finally served. Both the opera and quintet performers were exceptional, the food - not so much, portions were dainty at best, and all of it was salted far too heavily and underwhelming.

5.00For an authentic, professional and delightful Mozart experience, go to the the Mozart Violin/Piano Sonata. Nikita Shtakob and Fiodar Lushch enchanted us with three sonatas that had us mezmerized and taken back to the 1700s. GIven in an intimate setting, you won't come closer to the musicians and feel like it is a private concert. Must see!
