Itinerary:

Mt Cook Information Centre – Departing Mt Cook Village, weather depending, we should get some amazing shots of the mountain itself. At 3724m, Aoraki/Mt Cook is New Zealand’s highest peak, however, the mountain can be viewed without any acclimatisation whatsoever from the village which is just 750m above sea level

Lake Pukaki – Travelling along one of the most beautiful roads in the world Lake Pukaki begins to emerge in front of us. Lake Pukaki is one of the bluest lakes you will ever see and is stunningly framed by the backdrop of Aoraki/Mt Cook and the Southern Alps. You are sure to get some amazing photos and marvel at the sight that we are beholding. It’s not hard to see why many Lord of the Rings scene were filmed nearby and we will point them out for you.

Tekapo (5 mins) - Farewelling Mt Cook we make our way to Lake Tekapo. This turquoise blue lake is famous world over for its pristine beauty. We have a short time here but long enough to get those Instagram breaking photos explore the Church of the Good Shepard and see the Mackenzie dog before starting to head towards Christchurch.

Geraldine - Departing Tekapo for Christchurch we will pass through more amazing passes and high country towns before arriving in the peaceful town of Geraldine for a final quick stop before heading to your final destination - Christchurch.

Christchurch – upon arriving in Christchurch your guides will point out any highlights we pass while travelling to the drop off locations.

It was a good tour. We were able to take great photos. Cheeky Kiwi was the operator. They were so helpful. I had 2 separate tours. One from Queenstown to Mt Cook and Mt Cook to Christchurch the following day. We realized there were no AirBnB in Mt Cook so we needed to change our plans to go to Christchurch that same day. Millie was so helpful. She was able to make arrangements between 3 buses to get is there. So shouoit to her, Hanna, and Natalie. The only minus would be a small bus. It was uncomfortable. But I understand since the tour was a small group.

The vehicle was comfortable and we were on track with time without at all feeling rushed. We had a lot of stops to iconic places for photo ops, plus some stops for snacks/toilet breaks. The driver was a former teacher and geologist, so I enjoyed hearing a different kind of spiel about New Zealand, and had a lot of fun asking about geology facts too.

An excellent tour to Mount Cook and return. Our guide and driver Phil Blackwood was great and went out of his way to ensure that we were able to see as many sites as we could. He is great ambassador for your company

Tour was excellent. Everything was great, flexible and weather was gorgeous. Tour guide was amazing, she definitely deserves a pay raise.

Drive was ok a little tight with full bus but stops made it doable. Very knowledgeable and informative guide/driver Greg. We stopped and did Hooker Valley hike which we did not expect. Had to rush to do whole thing in 2 hours since it's normally a 3 hour hike.
It was a marvellous road...

Pretty view and great way to get from Mt cook to Christchurch. Driver drove a bit fast for our liking ( yes it was a long day for him as he drove both ways in one day). Made a few stops along the. way. Comfortable van. You did not join a round trip group, everyone was one way

Joseph was great. Told many interesting facts. Tried hard to make the long drive interesting and accommodated all the people that needed constant bathroom breaks.
