This full-day tour goes from Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, to the beautiful and characteristic town of Taormina in the afternoon. In the first part of the excursion, submerge in nature and visit old craters and lava flow caves, enjoy breathtaking views, and taste the typical local products. In the afternoon, before visiting Taormina, you will stop and see the beautiful "Isola Bella" from above.

Tour itself is great. We have seen everything we went for. Group is small. Transportation is comfy. However, improvements could be made with the communications, engagement and punctuality.

We had a great day visiting Taormina and then Mt Etna. Our tour guide, Giuseppe was great too. He's not just a driver but he's a walking encyclopedia. We learned a lot and enjoyed our day immensely, thanks to him. Our group was basically an Italian family of 2 adults and 3 children + 2 Polish guys and me. Yet Giuseppe took care of everyone and always took the effort when explaining something in Italian to come and repeat it again in English. Couldn't ask for more.

Florence was a great and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed exploring Mt Etna and the lava cave. Taormina is beautiful with lots of shopping but 2 hours went by very quickly. If you’re into shopping you would need more time in Taormina. If you’re good just seeing the town and going to the Greek Theater for photos and back then you’re fine. Also, we did Mt Etna in shorts and tennis shoes and it was doable. It was a bit chilly so maybe pants and jackets if you tend to get cold.
