For those interested in the history of Buddhism in Japan this is a must do. Our guide Hiro is very knowledgeable and accommodating. If starting in Osaka you should be prepared to travel 2.5 hours each way and be fit enough to walk up stairs and hills. We highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I had a lovely day with Yuki exploring Koyasan. It rained the whole time which made the experience even more magical with the fog in the mountains. Yuki was excellent, sharing her knowledge on the area and it's important history. She took us for a delicious lunch at a local eatery and helped us navigate to Koyasan from Osaka city. Thanks for a great day Yuki!

This was a great tour. The train ride was very scenic. The train system is a little confusing, but our guide was very helpful navigating us. Mt Koto has lots to see and if you can do two days, if would be better.

It was a unique tour with Noriko. She picked me up from my hotel and we drove together towards Koyasan. Before that she helped me to buy the right ticket so that it could start right away. The ride goes through the tranquil villages of Japan until arriving in Koyasan after a bus and mountain railway. We started with the large forest cemetery which was incredibly quiet and peaceful. On the way in the train and on foot Noriko told me exciting stories about the individual points. After a small lunch we went on to amazing temples and in the afternoon back to Osaka, where we still ate something comfortably it was very appreciated. The tour was really great next time I will stay longer in Koyasan as there is still so much to watch:) thanks for the great insights into this magical place Noriko.

Great experience. Our guide-Yuki was awesome. She helped us navigate through the trains. Her knowledge of Mount Koyasan was incredible. Going through the Okunoin cemetery, through Kongobu-ji temple, Konpon-Daito, Rokkaku Kyozo was amazing.

Yuki was an excellent guide. She was very professional, very knowledgeable, so kind and helpful. She used our time on the subway to familiarize us with Japanese history, culture, and traditions. Yuki navigated us perfectly through the intricate travel to Koyasan-such a beautiful, wonderful day, which included a fabulous vegetarian lunch!!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience touring Koyasan. Yuki clearly knows this region well and we feel as though we walked away with an immense amount of knowledge after our day with her. Yuki’s attention to detail was apparent even before our trip began, inquiring about food allergies, specific sightseeing requests and making plans to pick us up at our hotel (which we later learned was quite a distance from her home)! Our day of experience exceeded our expectations. Yuki was so thoughtful, personable and we left her at the end of the day feeling like we've known her for ages! She definitely gave us the VIP experience. Highly recommend!

My guide Yuki was excellent. So kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to help me have a great day including helping me to find a particular vegan restaurant when we got back to Namba. Koyasan was spectacular. I thoroughly recommend this trip.
