This is for you if you value personalized attention and a flexible itinerary on this full-day private tour. Your adventure starts with pick-up from your Tbilisi hotel approximately at 10 o'clock in a comfortable, left-hand drive and climate-controlled vehicle. We can manage the time in consultation a bit earlier or later. While sitting back enjoy the scenery of Georgian countryside and get in-depth narrative on topics you are interested in about Georgian history, culture and cuisine. At the end of the enjoyable and informative trip - after visiting last sightseeing – drive back to your Tbilisi hotel!

Mtskheta Church of the Holy Cross
Jvari Monastery is the VI century Georgian Orthodox Monastery. It's situated on the top of the mountain and offers a spectacular panoramic view over the old capital Mtskheta and the confluence of the rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi. Jvary Monastery was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral
The second largest church in Georgia Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is situated in Mtskheta, which is one of the oldest cities in the country and a former capital. Svetitskhoveli is frequently visited by piligrims all over the world because of its religious significance and the burial of the robe of the Christ. Along with Jvari Monastery, Svetistkhoveli Cathedral is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

5.00I spent a total of seven days touring with Makho, and I’m so glad I did. He is a wealth of information and works tirelessly to provide a deep dive into the history, culture, politics, and geography of Georgia. I learned far more than I ever could have on my own. He was also quite flexible with his planning, even while we were on the road, tailoring my tour to the things he could see excited me. He added extra stops as time allowed—places we hadn’t specifically discussed beforehand—making it clear that his priority was maximizing my experience. At this point, I consider him a friend, and I would very much look forward to seeing him again the next time I’m in Georgia.

5.00We had a wonderful tour and an amazing experience thanks to our five-star guide. He gave a lot of clear and interesting explanations, was very friendly and talkative, and shared plenty of history, anecdotes, and local stories that made the trip truly memorable. You could really feel how much he loves his country and how proudly he promotes it. He was very serious about safety, with careful and smooth driving, and he gave us excellent tips during the tour as well as after. Everything was perfectly organized, making it an ideal experience for a family trip. We warmly recommend this guide and this tour!

5.00We went on a 4 day tour with Makho Tours guided by Makho himself, and the tour from start to fiinsh was excellent. The tour was well organized and planned by Makho, and he also introduced us to the Georgia that many tourists do not get to visit, especially around the Tbilisi region. The personationlization, professionalism, and warm personality of Makho is what stood out the best. He always went the extra mile, and did more than any tour guide would. His explanations and personal experiences related to the historical sites, monuments, along with the different fables and culture added immense value to all the sites we visited. During the trip, he ensured that we as a family were comfortable and safe, along with providing insights and suggestions to make tweaks in the plan for the day that left us all happy. One would definitely find the experience worth the effort, and I would recommend Makho to anyone who plans to visit Georgia.

5.00Excellent day tour, well paced. Scenery and sights are captivating. Markho was a wonderful communicator and freely shared his extensive knowledge of Georgian history. He ensured we had a day in Georgia that we will always treasure. The restaurant was a highlight- wonderful, fresh Georgian food and magical location.
