Board your bus in central Beijing and enjoy the scenic ride to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. At the site, you have plenty of time to explore the ancient stone-and-earth barricade.
Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
Also you can add on Summer Palace to your tour by selecting"Upgarde Summer Palace Bus Tour" option.
Upgrade to unwind with an authentic local buffet lunch before riding the bus back to Beijing.

Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

5.00John was an outstanding guide throughout our Great Wall of China tour. From the beginning, his communication was excellent — he was responsive, clear with instructions, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Everything was very well organised, from transport arrangements to timing at each stop, which made the travel efficient and comfortable. What really stood out was John’s knowledge and ability to explain the history and significance of the Great Wall in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. He provided detailed explanations, answered all our questions patiently, and shared many interesting insights that made the experience much more meaningful. John was also friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the day, always making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Thanks to his organisation and expertise, the tour felt seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend John to anyone visiting the Great Wall of China.

5.00Thank you for the trip John. We started our tour 10 am at dongzhimen bus station. The bus was clean and comportable. During the bus ride John told us alot about the history of the chinese Great Wall. We Got a detailed explanation about the best route, we could take from John. The weather was good, it was sunny but not to warm. My group decided to take the east route first, with the toboggan and later on we also took the cable car route. It was a great and excelent experience. Thank you John for making it possible.😁❤️

5.00Focus on Cici’s language skills If you need proof that a great guide transforms a trip, book Mubus to Mutianyu and ask for Cici. Her command of English is exceptional – not just vocabulary, but natural expressions, humour, and cultural bridging. She told stories of the Great Wall’s construction that were both accurate and animated, keeping everyone engaged. When a foreign guest had questions about ming dynasty bricks, she answered in perfect detail. Mubus provided seamless logistics: comfortable seats, on-time departure, and friendly staff at the meeting point.

Her English is superb – clear, fluent, and effortless to understand. She explained the history of the wall with such passion and precision, from its defensive strategies to the restoration work.
