Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.

Mutianyu Great Wall
MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.

1.00Very rude operators, condescending and treat tourists as toddlers. Please ensure that you have a bus ticket for the up and down, as it's not mentioned anywhere, but you'll be told to pay or walk for 4 km. I found this totally fraudulent. The voucher for coffee is a scam its a discount you may as well not take it and just get coffee and lunch elsewhere. There are plenty of decent places in the vicinity. Overcrowded part of the wall and you will be rushed to return. The wall is very nice and well kept if you can stand overcrowding and rude Mu Bus tour guides, which I believe are not even necessary.

5.00It was an amazing trip to the great wall. Our guide Mike was the best, giving us good recommendations to make the most of our visit to the Great Wall. He also shared interesting aspect of the history of China and the Great Wall. I had enough time to visit all the Wall's towers, and the offered buffet was really good. Overall this tour with Mubus was a perfect experience, and I cannot recommend enough our guide Mike.

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, and we highly recommend it! We chose the Munbus transport from Beijing and were lucky enough to be in the bus where Mike was our guide. From the very beginning, Mike created a friendly and positive atmosphere. Throughout the journey, he shared fascinating stories about China and the construction of the Great Wall, speaking with genuine passion and respect for his country. It was clear he truly loves what he does. He was also very funny — especially when talking about Bruce Lee, which made us smile 😊 Everything was perfectly organized and clearly explained. Mike was patient with every tourist, while also being firm about safety rules, which made us feel secure at all times. We also decided to add the lunch option, even though we hadn’t booked it initially, and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was delicious and varied. The experience itself at the Great Wall is unforgettable — truly a breathtaking place. However, the entire day was made even more special thanks to Mike, who brought great energy and a positive vibe from the very start. Thank you, Mike, for such a memorable experience!

We started our day at the Summer Palace, where the calm lake reflected golden pavilions and lush hills, offering a peaceful and elegant start to the journey. He planned everything carefully and ensured our journey was enjoyable from start to finish. The sunny weather with great visibility made the Great Wall appear extremely magnificent. Colorful flowers bloomed all over the mountains, creating a romantic and pleasant hiking atmosphere. We also appreciated the comfortable bus service and the waiting lounge with free tea, water, and snacks.

5.00Our trip with guide John was absolutely fantastic. We began with a serene visit to the Summer Palace, where imperial elegance dazzled us. The calm lake reflected the grand architecture, and soft spring breezes carried the scent of blooming flowers, setting a perfect tone. Later, we headed to the Great Wall. The weather was sunny with great visibility, making it look extremely magnificent. Colorful flowers bloomed all over the mountains, creating a romantic atmosphere. The General Platform felt especially grand, and the cable car ride took only 5 minutes with no waiting. We appreciated the comfortable bus service and the waiting lounge with free tea, water and snacks. John's professional and vivid introductions made this tour deeply memorable. Highly recommended!

4.00We had a good experince with Mubus. We Got to the summer palace at first. Here did we see a lot of beautiful temples and old chinese artitectures. Our guide John did it very good to tell us thru all the small details. Very nice with the boat ride, you have to buy it there but John helps you. After that we took of to the great Wall. Best Experiance we had in China. It was very beautiful and we Got help with tickets to the transport up and Down. The best part was you are on your own at the Wall. So you Can get your own Experience in your Way and time. We didnt know we could go from East to West without buy transport to both places. Would have been nice to know.

5.00Impeccable and clear logistics transfer and organization. Departure on time at the meeting point. The guide Jessica was very clear to illustrate the path we would take with the various entrances. Everything is perfect. I recommend buying the buffet lunch, very varied!

5.00Amelia was brilliant. She ensured everyone in the group had the best possible experience. Cable car / sideway tickets could be purchased on the bus avoiding the queues at the venue. Mubus trip is an easy winner.

5.00I have been to the top of the empire state building I have also been to O macho picho in peru and Anka wat in Cambodia and itchiness in in Mexico I have been to christ the redeemer in Brazil and to the pyramids in Egypt and to jordan to petra but none of them compares to the great wall.
