  Professional, patient and engaging, guide John made our educational school group tour to Mutianyu incredibly rewarding! He adapted his historical explanations to fit teenage students’ understanding levels, using fun quizzes to keep everyone focused and curious. He led safe structured walking routes suitable for student groups and supervised everyone closely near steep wall sections. John coordinated smoothly with Mubus transport and meal services to cater to our large group’s special needs efficiently. He also taught kids simple facts about world heritage significance interactively. Responsible and great with young people, he combined outdoor exploration and knowledge learning perfectly, creating an inspiring unforgettable field trip memory for all students and teachers alike.

  This tour exceeded all my expectations. Gathering at Dongzhimen Exit B was very convenient, with nearby breakfast spots, convenience stores, and clean restrooms available. The sunny weather and pleasant temperature made climbing the Great Wall enjoyable. The bus was comfortable and smooth throughout the journey. Our guide John’s English was fluent, and they delivered comprehensive history lessons about Mutianyu’s architecture. They helped us secure tickets for the cable car and slide quickly and shared practical travel advice. Even with many visitors, our early start meant no waiting in lines. The whole experience was seamless and memorable.

  The buffet restaurant on Mubus’s second floor is an absolute highlight of our trip! The lunch spread is incredibly rich and diverse, catering to all kinds of taste preferences. There are plentiful hot Chinese dishes, fresh cold salads, hearty soups, sweet fruits and delicate desserts, all made with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. The dining space is clean, bright and neatly arranged, with comfortable seats for groups. Our guide John highly recommended this buffet before we ate, telling us it’s the perfect way to fuel up for the Great Wall hike. He even pointed out our favorite dishes and made sure we had enough time to enjoy a satisfying meal. This delicious, abundant buffet gave us plenty of energy for the rest of the day’s adventure.

  Hi, the trip was very professional and organised by Mike and Kevin. We really enjoyed the tour and the Mubus company's instructions and the building which they hosted snacks, food and drinks at.

  Mr. Mike our tour guide was amazing super friendly and helpful kept the spirits up of everyone on the bus. We had a lot of traffic arriving however they extended our stay on the wall to ensure we could see everything. Would recommend doing the west side first we done from tour 14 to 18 and then back view on 18 was great Mike explained it perfectly what to do there. We then got done and got up to tour 6 on the east side the trabogan was closed when we were coming down as it was late unfortunately. Would recommend you not going during early april as it is a national holiday and the wall was super busy. Would highly recommended going with mubus and hopefully you get Mr Mike too super tour guide

  Exploring the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall was truly one of the highlights of my trip to China The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — endless mountains, the Wall stretching into the distance, and a perfect mix of restored pathways and more rugged, authentic sections. Walking along it really gives you that “wow, this is the Great Wall” feeling that you can’t fully understand until you’re there in person. Mutianyu is also a fantastic choice because it’s less crowded than other sections, making it much more enjoyable to take in the views and capture some amazing photos. And of course, finishing the experience with the toboggan ride down was such a fun and memorable bonus! A special thank you to our wonderful host Cici, who made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Her guidance, organization, and warm attitude really made a difference and added a personal touch to the day. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Beijing — it’s an absolute must!

  Great day at Mutianyu Great Wall! We took the chairlift to Tower 6 and hiked to Tower 1 at a slow, enjoyable pace. The route was peaceful and not crowded, allowing us to fully appreciate the scenery. Our guide John was very helpful and knowledgeable, explaining the history of each tower we passed. The natural beauty around the wall was stunning, especially with spring blossoms everywhere. Ending the trip with the toboggan slide was exciting and unique. This relaxed route is perfect for families and those who prefer a more comfortable Great Wall experience.

  I had the most amazing time at the Mutianyu Great Wall! As a girl visiting for the first time, I was so happy with how beautiful and peaceful everything was. The Wall and the ancient Watchtowers are so majestic. Walking on the old stones and looking at the green mountains made me feel so inspired. I took so many pretty photos from the towers! The Mubus team was so professional and made the trip so easy for me. After all the walking, the lunch they provided was a delicious surprise! It was a big, authentic meal that really gave me my energy back. But what about tour guide Mr. Mike? He was the highlight of my trip! Mr. Mike is so sweet, funny, and full of energy.
