5.00Our experience with Costa Rica Family Tours was absolutely incredible, and our guide Vernie made it truly unforgettable. He is exceptionally knowledgeable—not only about Costa Rica’s history, but about the jungle itself. He showed us things we would have never seen without him, pointing out wildlife and details that would have completely gone unnoticed otherwise. I am very afraid of heights, and the zip lines were honestly intimidating for me. Vernie went above and beyond—he actually went with me on the zip lines, encouraged me, and made me feel so safe and comfortable that by the end, I was able to do the final zip line completely on my own! That moment alone meant so much to me. Despite being in a busy jungle area, Vernie made us feel like we were the only ones there. The experience felt completely personal, never rushed, and incredibly well cared for. Safety was always a top priority, and his calm, confident presence made us feel secure the entire time. His knowledge is truly unmatched—it’s hard to even put into words how much he knows. On top of that, we didn’t even need to bring our cameras. Vernie took countless photos and videos throughout the excursion and sent everything to us later that same evening. We will absolutely be using Vernie again on our next adventure to Costa Rica. What a beautiful country, and what an extraordinary tour guide. Highly, highly recommend!

5.00This tour/adventure really allows you to see and do all of the things costa rica is known for: waterfalls, hanging bridges, volcanos, hot springs, monkeys, zip lining and more! He picked us up promptly at 6:30 AM and we arrived before the crowds! Verny is very nice and knowledgeable. You can tell he wants his group to feel special and treated well. He's been doing this long enough he knows all of the people at the place and it was like we had the place to ourselves. All activities were great. My husband is typically a sit on the beach on vacation and he had a great time. We'd highly recommend Verny for any tour!

Personalized Attention for a Family of Five The Buena Vista Combo Tour packs a lot into one day (ziplining, the massive waterslide, horseback riding, and hot springs), and navigating it with a family of five could have been stressful. Verny made it absolutely effortless. His transportation was immaculate, he was perfectly punctual, and he managed the itinerary's pacing flawlessly. He anticipated every need, ensuring we had water, snacks, and the perfect timing to move between the high-adrenaline activities and the relaxed wellness portion. 5.00Verny is the best tour guide I've ever met throughout 3 trips to Costa Rica over 20 years. His attention to detail and passion for sharing his amazing country and its abundant resources with his guests is ever-present during the tour. He treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed zip-lining, hiking to a waterfall, horseback riding, hot springs, hanging bridges, a cultural tour & delicious lunch and the water slide. He spotted lots of wildlife which really enhanced the tour and his love for the ecosystem is obvious. Fruit plate Verny's reputation with other guides precedes him and they clearly admire his way with guests and respect him as an incredible and experienced guide. He timed our tour perfectly to avoid any potential crowds and make our experience as personalized as possible. We're doing his LA LEONA WATERFALL CANYONING & WHITE WATER TUBING Tour on Saturday and can't wait. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking any and all tours with Verny during your time in Costa Rica.

5.00Verny picked my family up early one morning and took us o a wonderful day long trip with several great activities. What I remember the most about Verny that day was his care and safety for my family. He took such good care of us always checking to make sure we had what we needed and we were comfortable. His knowledge of the area and the history of Costa Rica was enlightening and educational. My pregnant daughter could not do all the activities so he would take her to different places to see other sights. Always concerned about the entire group and going beyond the normal level of service. He is a top notch person, excellent guide and exceeded all our expectations. Blase Grady
