Day 1 - Gaborone City tour half day followed by lunch (Half Day) 0900-1400hrs

Day 2 - Manyana village visit followed by lunch and a Game drive at Mokolodi nature reserve (game drive is an optional extra) {Full Day} 0900-1630hrs

Experience the history, culture and wildlife in Botswana all from the city's capital Gaborone. From the city to the country side, see both ends of our heritage, what we have built up and the simple life we maintain in the village, with a side of rock paintings and a gamedrive.

Three Chiefs' Statues

After pick up we start our adventure with the Botswana story at the monument. This is followed by a visit to the Main mall where you get to interact with street venders and taste our seasonal indigenous fruit.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and hosts (Otto & Andy). I also got the chance to meet some additional guests on the 2nd day. It felt like traveling with friends and family. One of the things I enjoyed was the open dialogue with both hosts and the opportunity to ask questions about any and everything. Otto was amazing. One of the activities was not available due to issues outside of her control but she was agile and was able to find 2 options for me based on my interests. I recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Gaborone. the experience is worth it!

Thankful of having Otto to guide me for the two days while I’m in Gaborone. Otto was a genuine person with a positive mindset. We had a lot of meaningful exchanges in different disciplines and that had enriched my knowledge about Botswana and the region beyond.

Great experience both days, with experienced and friendly guides. Much more intimate in a comfortable sedan with just us and our guide, than a large tour group, in a bus. I would recommend paying just a bit more for that experience. Maybe less time in the village to leave more time for an unrushed lunch, before the park drive

Thank you Andy for such a brilliant time. We learnt a lot about the cultural heritage of Botswana and we loved all of it. It was a first-class tour. We also loved all the extra places you took us to. A very friendly & knowledgeable tour guide. I got an authentic experience of both village and city life and learned a lot of history about Botswana. The Mokolodi Nature Reserve visit was great, lovely food at the Bush Kitchen, and a chance to see some rare wildlife like the White Rhino afterwards.

I had an amazing multi day tour and I learned a lot about the history of Botswana. As part of this tour I visited Manyana village, Mokolodi Game reserve and did a city tour. Heritage Adventures provided me with an authentic experience of Gaborone, Botswana . I also enjoyed the cuisine, shopped and tried out local snacks at the main mall. I will highly recommend Heritage Adventures.
