Frauenkirche
The Frauenkirche, also called Munich Cathedral or Cathedral 'Zu Unsere Frau', is considered the landmark of Munich's city centre and a visit, even outside of a church service, is worthwhile, especially because you have a great view of the entire city from the south tower.
Stachus
The Karlstor , at the western end of the pedestrian zone of Munich's city centre, forms part of the remains of the city wall directly adjoining one of the most popular squares in Munich, Karlsplatz or popularly called Stachus
