Step into the shoes of a newly-minted detective, tasked by Commander Mahoney to solve a gripping case... murder on the streets of Burlington.

Throughout this crime-solving audio adventure, visit each of the 10 mapped locations. You'll have the chance to explore the downtown area using the Walking Map. Refer to ‘Meeting Point’ for the starting location. See images for route.

Stop at each location, listen to the audio story, and put your detective skills to the test by gathering clues and piecing together the evidence. Finally, make your deductions and issue an arrest warrant.

Your overall detective skills will be evaluated, culminating in a Case Performance Score to measure your sleuthing prowess. This game is suitable for solo detectives, dynamic duos, or groups of mystery enthusiasts, offering an immersive audio tale filled with intrigue.

6 of us went to celebrate my daughters 25th birthday. We split into teams and the 4 ladies were all VERY uncomfortable with the homeless community where the mystery starts and that just set for an unpleasant experience. The overall mystery was detailed but the outcome wasn’t well supported. I would say if the experience could be updated in the route, and the story itself, it would Be enjoyable. I wouldn’t do this particular location again.

Unique way to spend a date night/night out with friends. My husband and I did this for our wedding anniversary. Pros: - Super low cost way to spend time with friends/loved ones; - Fun working together to solve a mystery; - Good way to get out and walk around; - Uses actual sites around the city as part of the mystery; - Voice acting was incredible; - Super convenient: start when you want and come back to it at a different time; - Completed it during the day with partner and felt absolutely safe. Cons: - Forgot headphones; listened to content within earshot of others. - The fictional “scene of the crime” took place on the opposite corner of City Hall Park, an area where unhoused people with visible drug addictions congregate (and where, we believe, someone was actually murdered not too long ago). One of the main suspects in the story is a person struggling with addiction, and the script leaned heavily on every stereotype imaginable to suggest the character was capable of murder. We listened uncomfortably, surrounded by the city’s real challenges, while the story tried to turn those same struggles into entertainment. If this topic bothers you, I’d recommend skipping this activity. - Story is not up to date with the current construction. To provide an interaction point, the app asks a multiple choice question relating to the physical surroundings at each stop. We got two answers wrong because of the changes made to city's infrastructure in the last year. - Overall game is pretty easy (which may be good if you're looking for something light to do). The app gives you 11 stops at the start of the game. I would have more fun trying to use the clues to guess the next location. Mystery was easily solved. - Scripts were a little long, which leaves you standing at some stops for 10-12 minutes.
