This activity is a combination of a traditional baking class and an experience of the traditional animal and organic farming of a Mykonian Farm. We will focus on mastering the fundamentals as well as discussing traditional techniques as we practice making our bread on our wood oven. The activity takes place at the Mykonian Farm, where you must arrive just after 9:00am. You will be taken to a specially arranged spot in order to start our baking lesson and specifically with the kneading of the bread dough, an approximately 1-hour process. When we have finished, the dough is left to rest for approx. 45', during which time our farm tour takes place. By the time we finish, it will be time to continue with our baking lesson and to shape the bread into its final form. When the baking process comes to an end, you will first taste your freshly baked bread and enjoy the outcome of your lesson. Brunch will be served with all the dishes made of genuine pure Mykonian products.

Had a fabulous few hours in a small group of just four people making both a traditional and an enriched bread dough. And then eating the results- what’s not to like?! Big Mike was as great a teacher and as funny as we’d read in other reviews. Interesting and informative tour of the, currently, small hobby type farm by Mark.

The farm and experience is still in its early stages of development for what is advertised. We enjoyed Mike, and his expertise with bread-making and learning new ways to make pizzas, calzones, and rolls. The tour of the farm was informative, but was more lecture-style than experiential. The bathrooms were clean and there is a lot more this farm will be offering in the future. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves! As the bread the rises, it would have been nice to have a shorter tour of the farm paired with more lessons from Mike or a tasting of wine or olive oil.

Me and my daughter had so much fun. My daughter loves cooking, so this class was perfect for her. We both learned a lot. Our instructor was really sweet and helped us take pictures. We got a tour of the farm and got to feed the goats and donkey.
