Phenomenal experience! Intimate setting with an exceptional view of the harbor. Truly a hands on cooking experience with the islands best “grandmother chef” overseen the meal preparation. She didn’t speak a word of English and yet e we felt like we’ve known her our entire life. The tour guide/host was outstanding. Very accommodating and made the experience personable and comfortable. With the small group environment we cooked and dined with another couple that we hope to be friends with forever. The best experience and one you truly won’t regret! Oh, and the meal we made was amazing.

Let me preface this review before I give more details. We were on a cruise ship and originally booked a cooking class via the cruise line. The night before we arrived in Mykonos, they cancelled the excursion since we were the only 2 to sign up. As soon as we found out, we jumped on Viator to search for options. We noticed this cooking class, which started at 4PM and lasted thru sunset, would be a good option so we signed up. Our host, Georges, met us at the port with a full-size bus and informed us just as we were about to board that he had great news. The other group of 5 people cancelled at the last minute, and we would be the only 2 in the class. The fact that they were still going to have the class with just us was incredible. The fun and great times went up from that point. Our host was super friendly and gracias. We had Chef Francesca, who only spoke Greek, show us how to prep and cook the food. Georges acted as a translator for her. Free wine and drinks were constantly flowing to us. The description says it is a cooking demonstration, but it was more of a hybrid class. Some items we prepped, some we made. Making dessert was especially fun since it was a competition between my wife and I (she won!). Overall, we made 5 separate dishes with enough food for at least six people. In the end, we ate our food on the oversized balcony, watching the sunset over the water. It was a wonderful event, and we would highly recommend it.

What is not to love about this amazing experience. Our guide Greg was so friendly. He picked us up at the cruise port in a nice bus and transported us to a beautiful space with a balcony overlooking the ocean. We were treated to wine and then began the food preparation. We made tzatziki as well as Greek salad, a feta bread, a type of sausage with rice and tomato sauce and dessert. Each dish was phenomenal. We then relaxed and enjoyed while watching the sunset. This was by far the best experience I did on my trip. We brought young children as well as teens and everyone was so happy. After everything we were driven back to the cruise port and hopped back on the ship. I hope to return and do it again!

From start to finish, this was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Greece. We were warmly greeted by Katriana, setting a welcoming tone right away. The drive with Fanny was smooth, professional, and friendly—she made us feel completely at ease. Francessa was absolutely fantastic, guiding us through each step of the cooking class with passion and charm. The whole experience had a homely, heartwarming feel that made us feel like part of a Greek family. The atmosphere was full of good energy, great vibes, and rich cultural insight. And to top it all off, we enjoyed it all with a stunning sunset view. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a genuine taste of Greek tradition.
