The area known as "Little Venice" is where the most western part of the town meets the sea. The buildings have been constructed right on the edge of the sea and their balconies overhanging the water. Piracy was common during the 16th and 17th century and it is believed this area was used for the necessary quick loading and unloading of goods.

5.00This was a very intimate experience, it was lovely getting to watch the sunset with some wonderful music and drinks with snacks. Our host was a joy to converse with and it was wonderful hearing his story. We had an amazing time!

1.00we showed up an hour early just to scope out the area, and there were no instructions on where to go or what to do. we asked the marina office people what to do, and we were instructed to wait by the office, and someone would come get us around 6:50. nobody showed up so we asked the locals, and they were all confused and said that this boat had already left and there are no more going out tonight. no apologies, no regrets, or anything from the people running this thing. so we didn’t go, my money was wasted and i can’t even get a full refund. horrible organization. i would put 0 stars if i could
